The Fab 5 on ESPN

  • Tiger2003
Will be televised March 13 at 9 pm on ESPN.

Definitely will be watching this. Who else will be watching?
  • mallymal614
Pains me to watch. Knowing Ohio State should have beat them in the elite 8 that year.

Worst cheating scandal in the history of NCAA basketball.

I guess when they talk about leaders, they meant setting the gold standard for corruption of a college sport.

And no, I won't be watching.
  • Hb31187
    lmao that upset about it?
  • ytownfootball
    Nope.
  • Hb31187
    Ill be watching.

It happens at quite a few schools id bet. UM just got caught...not that big of a deal IMO

I cannot wait to watch it. I was a huge fan of the Fab 5.

The Fab 5 changed basketball. If you're a fan of the game this is a must see. Who cares that it is Michigan. It will be very entertaining and us as the viewers will get to see the inside of the whole story.

    Agree.

I know the story, I watched it live and am not too old to remember it.

    My fondest "Fab 5" moment.

Hey out of all of em gotta respect Jalen Rose. Only one who didn't take money. Still props to em for changing the game...without em we'd still have short shorts

Black socks, long & baggy shorts, bald heads, trash talk, etc. They definitely changed the culture of college hoops.

Yep, they were more blatant and more ignorant than the others.
  • CinciX12
For the better. Who wants to watch a bunch of white guys frolic around on a court saying things like 'excellent shot, sir' or 'fabulous fast break execution chap'.
  • Laley23
Love the Fab 5. So much fun and loved to play that way.

They got caught, Id venture to say in 20 years they wont be the only "superclass" to have cheated and outed for it.

I'll definitely be watching. Always been intrigued by the 'Fab 5" and I liked each of their games in the NBA as well. Even if it is Bitchagain.
  • Con_Alma
...I think I saw them play their first collegiate game ever. As freshman they opened up the new arena in Cleveland against Cleveland State. They were playing against the guy who helped recruit them to Michigan....Mike Boyd I think it was.

And the HBO Documentary on Tarkanian's UNLV team (Larry Johnson, Greg Anthony, Stacy Augmon, etc.) the the night before. A great way to end championship week and begin NCAA tourney week.

Of course I loved the Fab 5, but also loved watching UNLV in those days.
