Cleveland BuckOhio State has beaten 5 teams (3 on the road) ranked in the current top 25, I believe the only team in the nation to have done so.
93-75 at #24 Florida
58-44 at #22 Florida State
67-64 vs. $16 Minnesota
73-68 at #20 Illinois

I'm using the InsideRPI from espn.com
But yeah, I mean they both are quality wins. But they aren't the same type of win beating those names would normally be. -

It was a hyperbole. No one said that, but SOME, very few of the comments on here were gettin a little outlandish for a team with a not-so-impressive resume'. -

Carolina was on the road...Purdue beat MSU at home. -

That tells you all you need to know LOL...
I found it funny that Tom Izzo was commenting on this game during the conference call. Making mention of Purdue playing 10 or 11 guys, while OSU goes 8 deep at most.. Also saying that Purdue would give OSU all they could handle... -

Don;t bring those facts in here. This is why I "lol" when people say OSU has played a weak schedule.. -

Make a claim for any of those teams not named Illinois being an impressive win for OSU. None of their schedules are good. -

I don't know. Maybe 6-0 vs. RPI Top 50 (3-0 on the road), 10-0 vs. RPI Top 100 isn't very impressive. -

The rpi and rankings beg to differ. I don't know what else you want. -

You made the claim...prove they suck yourself. -
Cleveland BuckThe only team with more top 50 wins is Notre Dame, but they also have 4 losses.

Well lets see Florida plays in the awful SEC, and they've lost to South Carolina and Jacksonville at home, and an away loss to UCF and then the loss to OSU at home where they couldn't even put up a fight. Then they beat Kansas State at home, but well, KSU is not a good basketball team like we thought they would be.
Florida State lost to the same not so good Florida team, then went on to lose to perhaps the worst BCS conference team, Auburn. Oh and losses at Virginia Tech and to Butler at a neutral location...eek. Yes, they beat Duke...so they have one good win. Their Baylor win looked okay, but Baylor, like KSU, is not as good a team we all thought they would be.
Minnesota, although I already said is a pretty good team, OSU beat at home so it's not really an impressive win.
You know my thoughts on Purdue.
And I gave OSU an impressive victory post after their win at Illinois. -

Why waste all your time and energy finding reasons to bitch about the teams OSU has beaten? We haven't lost and every other team in the country but SDSU have lost at least once. I don't give a fuck what you consider an impressive win, at least we don't have any unimpressive losses. -
ytownfootballThe transitive property...smh

FootwedgeSportandLady a jackass? Does the pope shit in the woods? Jackass is putting it quite mildly.
Great win tonight...and just think....next year Craft will only be the second best guard on the team. -

I don't know why he tries so hard. He's the only Kansas fan on a OSU board; he's never going to win.
Go to a Kansas board where people will eat that bullshit up. Might be more enjoyable. -

In theory, you stop Sullinger and you can stop the Buckeyes.
And you can now put that theory right next to that flat Earth notion. -
ytownfootballOthers need to keep stepping up but that is very true. What 4 guys in doubles tonight?
-
mallymal614Ohio State is extremely difficult to defend. If you double Jared, the shooters will beat you. If you play him straight up, he can go for 25 points. Kinda like pick your poison.

Typical of an egomanic. On here he sticks out like a sore thumb, on a Kansas board he'd be a nobody. I suspect he's made fun of on Kansas boards. -

I am a KU fan but sportandlady is a moron so please do not lump me in with him. Anytime you beat a top 25 team it is a good win. It's a 30-35 game season where everyteam is bound to have some games that they shouldn't lose. That doesn't change the overall quality of the team nor does it remove the tag of quality win unless the teams just go down the crapper. The fact that those 5 teams are CURRENTLY ranked when we are approaching February should be an easy sign that they are good teams and represent quality opponents.
