All I'm saying is beating Purdue at home isn't an impressive win.

They've had one impressive win this year, at Illinois.

Either is beating Texas at home... Oh wait.

    I kid, I kid!!!!

They rate them based on their results, not based on if they're actually the twelfth best team in the country.

I'm not saying OSU isn't a good team..they are clearly right now the best team in college basketball. But the one guy needs to chill out on the "no one can come close to us" jargon.

You'll never hear me call a team invincible, because CBB fans know better than that. However, when you take the #12 team and absolutely drill them in that fashion, especially when they were only 1 game behind you in the loss column in conference play, it's impressive.

Honestly, there is no big difference between 10 and 12th ranked teams... I mean, the 10th ranked team was just drilled at HOME by a team under .500

BTW Hummel hasn't played all fucking year, not sure how they're #12...oh yeah, they're good even without him

Bucks made them their bitch tonight.

Spare me the objective all knowing horseshit

Not saying I am all knowing. But Purdue really isn't a good basketball team. Who have they beat? They lost to Richmond, at home. They lost their two road games at WVU (who then lost to Marshall, at home) and @ minnesota (a pretty good team). Sooo what, they beat Michigan State at home, yeah so did a lot of teams. MSU hasn't been good yet this year. Their time will come where they'll turn it around, but it definitely wasn't when Purdue played them. Oh sorry they beat Virginia Tech in OT, my bad they're good.

First of all, I said that if Aaron Craft plays like that every game that no one could touch them, which is true. Of course Craft doesn't play like that every game, so obviously Ohio State isn't unbeatable. The only thing this team doesn't have is a PG that penetrates and can finish or create shots for his teammates. Craft did that tonight better than I have seen him do it before. When he plays like that, this team has no weaknesses. When he doesn't this team can get stagnant offensively on occasion and allow teams to stay in games.

Like I said, all I was saying was easy on the invincible talk by SOME of the OSU fans on here...not saying you were one of them...but when you hear "no one can come close to us" and "we made them look that bad!" it gets borderline comical.

LOL What? That's true? Okay, give me the link to the factual credibility of that statement.

So, Minnesota is a good team, but Purdue isn't? Minnesota lost to Virginia, at home. "MSU hasn't been good yet this year." Guess what, Minnesota lost to them too. Quality wins...UNC? WVU?

Unanimous #1, meaning all 31 votes in the USA Today poll cast OSU as #1...and how do they respond? By drilling the #2 team in the conference, that in preseason, was ranked as the toughest conference in the nation this year by Jay Bilas and Dick Vitale (yes, even ACC homer DickyV conceeded that the Big10 would be the best conference in America this season). What else do you want to make it impressive. If Syracuse were #1, and drilled another BE team ranked #12, say Uconn or Villanova, everyone would be talking about how impressive they were. But I forgot, you're a hater.

Yes you would be floored to your ass by any move on the court.

You won't win the argument that tonights game wasn't impressive, but thanks for stopping in to point out what you find comical, it's relevant.

UNC and WVU is a hell of a lot more than Purdue's quality wins!0

yeah that's right, I'm a hater..I literally just got done posting how OSU is the #1 team in the nation right now and deserves that ranking...but yeah, total hater!

Oh and LOL @ citing pre season predictions to back up your argument lol

Hey that Harrison Barnes is an all american baby!

Purdue is a good team. They aren't an elite team without Hummel, but they are a Sweet 16 caliber team, maybe a round better if Moore can hit some shots. Purdue's best wins are at Virginia Tech and vs. Michigan State which is pretty comparable to Kansas' best wins (vs. Arizona and vs. Memphis), and no one is questioning if Kansas is a good team or deserving of their ranking.

"We got five of six calls in the second half that were just mercy calls," Purdue coach Matt Painter said. "It really should have been 30 or 40 points (difference)."

Again, I'm not bragging about KU being the best team ever, so I do not need to cite KU's best wins. For the record, I think they have a very weak resume'. But that is irrelevant because they don't need one. They lose 1 or 2 more games this year, and they'll likely be a #1 seed, at worse a #2 seed.

Also, beating Virginia Tech (come on seriously?) on the road and 7-loss Michigan State at home is not more impressive than beating Arizona and Memphis at neutral locations. But that's for another discussion.

Michigan State? Oh wait no, they haven't been good all year, but yet they beat Minnesota, and somehow Minnesota is a good team and Purdue isn't.

UNC is a quality win? They got beat by 20 at Georgia Tech, and lost to Vanderbilt. MSU may not have as many big wins, but only one of their losses has came against a team that hasn't been ranked this season (Penn State).

Carolina is 21st in the RPI. So yeah technically it is a quality win.

Carolina is 20th on here. Alright, so if Carolina is a quality win, then so is Michigan State, as they are ranked one below Carolina.
