    Late 50's/early 60's is what I read.

    They're definitely wearing throwbacks:

BK said they will be from the Joe Kuharich Era circa 1959/62.

LOL, I answered my own question killer.

If it's from the late 50's and early 60's under Kuharich, the throwback uniforms will look like this:

    Here's a full history on ND's uni's:

Floyd met with ResLife on Thursday.

Still no word on Mike Floyd's fate:

If he got kicked out could he get in an NFL supplimental draft in the summer?

Yes he could and that is part of the speculation if he is indeed suspended for fall semester. They likely won't "kick him out" because he is a senior, but they could suspend him for a semester.

    Jonas Gray sprained his MCL.

Good thing we signed Savon Huggins.

Floyd news: ResLife meeting that was supposed to happen just a bit ago was canceled. Also -- he's expressed his desire to graduate from ND.

All but shoots down any Supp. NFL draft talk, but we will find out what happens sooner than later. Also confirmed the positive steps taken.
    Interesting.

Chris Watt was also injured and was walking around Pro Day on crutches and in a boot. Hopefully Gray's is a low grade sprain and Cierre is held out of the rest of camp.

Also, Darrin Walls ran a 4.39 40 today, Rudolph said his time wasn't a record, but was good enough. Ian Williams lowered his time and felt pretty comfortable with how he worked out today too. No word on what Armando, Brian Smith and the others did today.
  • rock_knutne
Too bad about Gray but thank God it's sprng practice and not the week before the opener.
  • karen lotz
No suspension from ResLife for Floyd.
  • dat dude
Wow, I'm surprised. I assume Kelly will still sit him down for at least a game.

    That's some GREAT news!

I think you're right. I'm almost positive he'll sit the first game...but will be in the throwback uni's against Michigan in week 2.

I can't believe Floyd will not be suspended by ResLife. Obviously he got his act together and in a big way.

Let's hope this is the last incident that BK has to deal with heading in to the season.

Were Powers-Neal and Yeatman suspended by Res Life for their DUIs? Or was that handled by the coaching staff?

    Edit:
The fact Notre Dame did not suspend Floyd marks a departure from past precedents within the restructured Office of Residence Life. When Will Yeatman committed his second alcohol-related offense in September of 2008, he was suspended for the season and ultimately transferred. Rashon Powers-Neal was suspended for the balance of the 2005 season after a DUI charge, ending his Irish career.

Floyd's arrest marks his third alcohol-related incident since 2009. The previous two incidents were for underage drinking. Floyd received community service from ResLife after the second of those incidents, which occurred in Minnesota over break shortly after Kelly was hired.

    Interesting, imo.
  • Tobias Fünke
He better be doing a shit ton of community service.

    You answered your own question.

    Sweet.

Now, what about that cadillac? I heard it was white.

    Haters gonna hate, boys.

Will be interesting to see what BK has to say. I guessed it would go down something like it did. Floyd screwed up big time, and he'll pay for it in court, community service, has missed the spring and probably the first game, but there was no need to throw the death penalty at him. Hopefully he lived and learned.

I'm also glad to see the new ResLife has gotten back to some reality with these decisions.
