  He's been the rumor of the week. He was a big Oklahoma lean before the Notre Dame offer, but they never offered. This will be interesting, I'd bet he becomes a Sooner.
  
  Notre Dame might look into having their 2012 class consist entirely of OL's, RB's, and CB's.

  He appears to be pretty excited about the move so that's a good thing. Should be easier for him to see the field other than ST if he can take the coaching well. He will also switch to #2.

  ^^^^^Is that going to happen? I like the luxury boxes but the jumbotron turns me off, not having one and the fact that's there's no commercial ads plastered all over the place is what makes ND special.

  ND stadium needs a jumbotron for sure. I get tired of calling buddies after a big play or controversial call to see what the replay on tv is showing. That is one tradition broken that wouldn't bother me. Someone on irish envy posted the idea of Rockne's pre-game speech being shown and blasted before the players come out to help ramp up the crowd - I think it's an awesome idea. There are so many cool things you can do with adding a jumbotron. Starting new traditions is an okay thing in my book.

  I doubt ND will ever put field turf in, a jumbotron......maybe but articial turf isn't going to happen.

  I agree that a jumbotron could serve a great purpose if used as you stated. My fear is that the place becomes commercialized with a jumbotron, just like a lot of other college stadiums. I don't want to see or hear ad after ad after ad.......ND's marketing and basically massive fanbase has made their brand name so strong that they can avoid such a fate. I hope greed doesn't play a factor.
