  Do you think they realized what they did was wrong and quit getting tattoos from the guy? With as many tattoos as Mike Adams and Pryor have, I would imagine it was a weekly outing to get new tats.

  They'd still have to sit out the suspensions, so what good would that do? By the time they came back, Braxton Miller would be entrenched as the QB, Smith as the RB and Norwell or someone else on the line. I'm sure one of the younger WRs will have stepped up by then, too.
  
  IF they want to come back, I have no problem with it. But they'll have to accept the fact that they'll be starting from the bottom of the depth chart when they do.

  No, the suspension would still be served the first five games of the 2011 season if they red shirt or not. So they could come back for a full season in 2012. Which would be dumb and would never happen. I think Pryor has to go, if Pryor comes back I would put him at TE, WR or DE for the rest of the season because him coming back for the rest of the season will do him and OSU no good. The rest I think could go either way, but they will have to work very hard to improve their draft status with only over what it will be after the sugar bowl.

  Everyone screws up and makes bad choices at some point in their lives. I will give Kudo's to those who mess up and acknowledge that they messed and hopefully learn from it.
  Everyone deserves 2nd chances. Doesn't mean there won't be consequences.
  
  btw- Why should someone get "Kudo's" for doing what they SHOULD do (not break rules) and people who do what they shouldn't do (break rules) and then do what they SHOULD do by apologizing?

  I guess its not that they(those to toe the line) should get credit for doing what they should. But they deserve more praise then those who screw up, say they are sorry, then get all this bullshit PR fluff stuff because they turned it around.
  
  And yes, they did screw up, it happens. I never said they should be burned at the stake. This issue is made into a bigger deal then what it really is IMO. BUT, don't make this "apology" some good thing either. More than likely, they were told they needed to do it. And again, even at that, its something they should have done anyways.
  
  As far as acknowledging what they did? Sorry, they knew what they were doing, and they knew it was breaking rules. They were selfish. And I don't buy the bullshit that their families needed it. As some have said, look at the tats, the jewlery and clothes some of these guys wear. I had been supporting Pryor based on things I had seen. But I also heard from good sources that he was in fact living the "high life", and he wasn't hiding it. I didn't want to believe and wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Well..now we know the truth.

  Agree. I am not sure why some think this will EVER happen. Who knows whats going to happen next year. My guess is he is as good as gone unless the NCAA makes a ruling to reduce before the Jan. 18th NLF deadline. Which is HIGHLY unlikely they will move that fast. They rarely do.

  man some of you guys must have never made a mistake when you were in your late teens.
  
  Since some of you have never made a mistake like I did, let me tell you how it works, you let everyone know you know it was a mistake you wont do it again. Next you move on because you know you cant change the past. You work even harder to make sure you dont let others down again. OR some people dont learn from their mistakes and repeat them until everyone loses faith.
  
  What I see is the 1st their admiting guilt and let everyone know their sorry now lets hope they continue to move forward and do their best to make this a footnote on their careers. Yes some will probably move on from OSU but they are still part of OSU forever and hopefully they have fine careers ad lives in what they wish to do.

  What I'm comparing is this...Steeler fans ragged on Big Ben until he came back and threw his 1st touchdown pass. Then they all loved him. The same will be for Pryor. Buckeye fans will be on him big time until he throws a td. Then all will be forgotten...just like Big Ben. That's the comparison.

  If they have been educated with the rules after all of this went down(the acts, not the rulings), when they were educated they should have spoken up and said....I did something like that so check into it to see if its illegal. If in coming freshman have not been educated since then(again, the acts, not the rulings) about all of the rules, the higher ups should do more digging to see if anyone else has done illegal things that the kids were not aware of.

  Agreed. But I don't think he'll be a QB either. He will be drafted as an "Athlete" in the early to mid 2nd Rd. And yes I believe he will try to put on a show in the Sugar as his last "try-out". But that will be his last time in the Buckeye uniform and I for one am glad of it.

  Early to mid 2nd? When "athletes" are drafted that high it's because they can see them translating to a specific position. I really have no idea what position TP plays other than QB, and I just don't think he's good enough to play QB.

  To be honest, this is what Pryor needed, wake up call. People hatin' on him. Now the team is the tightest its ever been, and Pryor has to play a great game. When this happens, we will all see how good Ohio State could have been.
