Terrelle Pryor, please stop talking....

CinciX12Your cousin's step-son liking OSU to the extent he does though I think plays a major part. If I met an ND quarterback when I was that age he could probably kill my dog and I'd be cool with it lol.
I guess the times I have been in close proximity to him I just got a sense of entitlement feeling. It might be wrong. But there is certainly an ego going on with these comments to convince me that is the rule and not the exception to his personality. -
Hb31187Word around the student body is that hes a bit full of himself ect.Idk first hand so i cant say. But of course any big time d1 player is gonna do the whole pictures and autograph thing with kids, especially kids with special needs. It makes them look like saints and im sure OSU has PR people in his ear all the time about things like this. Not to say hes not a good guy, but its not like this is anything extraordinary

Who's not going to have an ego to some extent when they are in his position. BTW, the comments were from my cousin, who is a huge Iowa fan. -

Greg (my cousin) said that his interaction with the parents is what kind of took him off guard. TP was extremely nice and joked around a lot with the parents while a lot of other players kind of just did their thing and left. -
LJBTW, it was totally up to the players if they wanted to come or not and the only starters that were there were TP, Adams, Browning, Heyward, Homan, Rolle and Boom.

Why not just let people say what they want and stfu? -

I stand corrected then, maybe hes a genuine good guyLJ;596609 wrote:Greg (my cousin) said that his interaction with the parents is what kind of took him off guard. TP was extremely nice and joked around a lot with the parents while a lot of other players kind of just did their thing and left. -

Humble people are the ones who are not going to say the types of things he says. Its one thing to just not be very smart which he proved with his killing people comment whatever that was exactly, and now we get him saying he is better than everyone and he is being handcuffed at OSU. It just doesn't look good for him. Those PR people that do probably whisper in his ear that Hb31187 mentioned should probably brief him before anyone with a camera or recorder is present is all I'm saying.
He doesn't have any obligation to be a stand up guy, because I know I sure as hell am not. But he does have the responsibility to represent OSU well. This doesn't do that. -

I honestly don't think his comments were that bad and I honestly agree with most of it. See I have many friends who have the same "syndrome" he has which would be that there is no filter between his brain and his mouth. He just says what he thinks and isn't good at saying it.
But having an ego vs being humble does not dictate whether or not a person is a good person or not. That just determines if people like being around them or not. -

this is really cool, LJ...haters are gonna' hate no matter what TP does, so it's no use arguing with them...GO BUCKS!!!LJ;596596 wrote:Has he gotten in trouble for anything? Has he been suspended for grades? Any true stories other than him being a "dick" to service staff? I have ran into him a few times and he was nothing but cordial. My cousin's step son has Down's syndrome and TP is one of his favorite players. He got to go meet the Buckeye's through some program and TP made sure to talk to him, sign an autograph for him and take pictures with him. My cousin has said that TP was one of the nicest people he has ever met and was nothing but good with the kids.

Fair enough. I just fall into the camp of I am going to let other people sing my praises if I am him. Be confident in yourself (CERTAINLY not a problem for him) and know that a lot of people talk about you positively anyway.LJ;596616 wrote:I honestly don't think his comments were that bad and I honestly agree with most of it. Everything I have seen and heard leads me to believe that he is extremely hard on himself and saying things like that is just self reassurance. I think he has self esteem issues on the field, which can lead to off the field self esteem issues. I mean, it's evident when he will be staring at a receiver yet refuse to release the ball until the receiver is absolutely open. I think he knows what he is capable of, but I think he is afraid of not being able to do it. -

Now you know I am just going to say there is no way in hell he actually sees those receivers haha -

It's obvious when you can see his head staring right at them and him holding the ball ready to throw. He worries too much about being perfect that it keeps him from just playing. It's quite obvious when he starts forcing things. -
mallymal614lol some of you are funny. Many people have said this throughout the year. Go back and read the old threads where there were posters who said Pryor would have the same kind of numbers as Robinson in Rich Rod's system. Now that Terrelle said it himself, he is an a-hole? Must all athletes be silent or censored from speaking their minds? Smh

What would you say if Denard Robinson came out and said "Man if i had a defense like Terrelle Pryors...we would dominate" I can almost assure you it wouldnt be a positive thingmallymal614;596733 wrote:lol some of you are funny. Umm, PP7 (2 time all american already) just won 2 big time awards and will be picked way higher than TP2 ever will be. Nice try.
Umm, I started a topic for people to say what they want.....so i can say what I want. Dont be mad becuz Im right about OSU posters saying every year that OSU will be in the title game, Pryor will win Heisman, OSU will beat USC, etc. etc. -

so just the coaching staff? Basically saying that theyre not utilizing him bestPick6;596780 wrote:but pryor isnt putting down his teammates.. -
LJHb31187;597042 wrote:so just the coaching staff? Basically saying that theyre not utilizing him best
Not really. I take it as him just saying that he doesn't think that those players are that much better than him, if at all, just that they play in different systems and he would put up like or better numbers in the same systems -
Pick6Hb31187;597042 wrote:so just the coaching staff? Basically saying that theyre not utilizing him best
no. he knew full well what system he was going to play in, hence the reason why he chose osu. all he is saying is that he thinks he could put up similar numbers if he played in the same system as denard or newton, which im sure a lot of people would agree with. Nothing more nothing less, quit trying to make more than what it is -
Tobias FünkeI had a conversation with one of the cheerleaders today, I guess the majority of them hate Terrelle Pryor too. I would assume they have more contact with the football players than any of us. The one I talked to said he had several crude interactions with one of the cheerleaders that bordered on despicable.
I really don't care if he takes pictures with the handicapped. He'd be run out of town if he refused, it would literally take someone on Hitler's level to ignore that request. It's huge PR points, and I'm not saying the guy doesn't have a heart.
What I am saying is that I've met one student who likes Pryor, and ~200 who don't. He has an approval rating of .5% from my unscientific poll. Some of the stories are laughable, like how after he fucked a friend of a coworker of mine, she wanted to stay over because she was drunk and he gave her a towel for the wood floor. Dickhead, but even I smirk when I laugh. Also the "everyone kills people," "I'd dominate," and acting like a bitch when he doesn't make All-Big Ten. But then there's disrespecting your fellow Ohio State students when no one is looking, which is the measure of character. Then there's a cheerleader telling me he grabbed one of the girls arms after he sneaked onto her floor in the team hotel, trying to get some pussy but he didn't realize the male cheerleaders were in the room too so he left furious a girl shot him down. Part of me wonders how none of this stuff gets out (it's fake!!! ).
You show me someone who has a genuine story of Pryor acting kindly to someone who isn't an adult and not at a sponsored event, and I'll tell you five that say just the opposite. The guy is a prick.
Also, said cheerleader also said a slew of the guys got busted smoking "H2" (I think...I don't do drugs) in the team hotel the night before the Wisconsin game, and Pryor wasn't there. Someone to ponder for the sluggish start. Also said, when I asked "so who on the football team is genuinely a nice guy and I wouldn't have any trouble rooting for?" that Brian Rolle, Boom Herron, and Justin Boren were all true mensches. Good to know. -
vball10setLOL-you're a funny guy, Tobias, and if nothing else you're good for a humorous read. hahahaha.

WebFireTo talk shit like that, and not even be in the top 10 for Heisman voting in your 3rd year starting...pointless.
1. Cam Newton (2,263)
2. Andrew Luck (1,079)
3. LaMichael James (916)
4. Kellen Moore (635)
5. Justin Blackmon (105)
6. Denard Robinson (84)
7. Ryan Mallet (41)
8. Colin Kaepernick (31)
9. Andy Dalton (30)
10. Owen Marecic (16) -
