Beating bad teams by 40 isn't more impressive than beating quality teams no matter the score.

He appears to be throwing it to the right team slightly more often. He has a 1:1 TD-INT ration. I have already mentioned Harris's that shows he has a propensity to throw it to the wrong team. I'm just saying maybe losing Harris isn't the end of the world. Addition by subtraction?

what quality wins does ohio state have that boise doesn't (assuming boise beats nevada)? i'd argue that beating virginia tech, nevada and oregon state is at the very least equal to and if not greater than beating iowa, miami and penn state

Iowa was a good win. Miami and Penn State are both garbage.

Va Tech appears to be a solid win. Nevada will be an okay win, everybody else is garbage on Boise's schedule.

Oregon State is not a quality win. They will likely not make a bowl this year.

Va Tech was bad when Boise played them.

    1:1 is better than 1.2:1?

    I must suck at math.

It wasn't pretty, but the win is all that matters.

The Rose Bowl is out the window with Wisky only having a gimpy NW squad left.

I do think the Buckeyes have a shot at the Orange Bowl though. It's the only BCS bowl we haven't been to (in the BCS era) and the only BCS trophy we don't have.

Was listening to an NO radio station on Sirus and they said the Sugar Bowl is dying(assuming Auburn wins out) to get Boise St vs Ohio State

Do you know what TV ratings are?

Do you know what you're talking about?? Advertising is already sold. Where would they lose ratings? Ohio State fans would still watch the game. SO, are you saying people from Ohio only watch bowl games Ohio State plays in? LOLOLOL

I read a bunch of this thread but will respond to your post since have had some good discussion in the past. I saw two missed calls today. The facemask on the OSU WR late in the first half and the PI/high hit on the incomplete middle screen pass. Beyond, agree with all the other flags and non flags.

They likely won't make a bowl game because James Rogers is out for the season. He was healthy and playing when they played Boise State. Completely different team back then. I would say that win is about comparable to the Miami win for OSU. And the VT win is just as much of a quality win as Iowa is for OSU. And yes, VT did lose to James Madison, but they also haven't lost since. Iowa on the other hand has four losses. Nevada will also be as impressive a win as any other win OSU has had. And even the wins Boise has that aren't necessarily quality are impressive. They shut out a Fresno team last night that was averaging 34 points a game and managed to score 51 on them even after turning the ball over on their first two possessions. I don't care who you are playing, that's impressive. They also beat a Hawaii team 42-7 that beat Nevada and Army and scored 36 against USC. Boise has also recorded three shutouts this year. If you've watched any Boise State games this year you would know that they are every bit as good as anyone in the country. As far as starters go, they can hang with anyone. They do lack the depth that other programs have though. That is the only difference.

Are you only 13? Or is your memory as short as other aspects of your physiology? You forgot about Boise State's win over Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl?

    This.

way too much money to be passed up because an SEC team in that game is almost virtually guaranteed to sell out their allotment and then some

No, for some reason -Society- thinks that I'm a waiter at Applebees and anytime I say anything on here he makes some snide comment about how my opinion should be invalid because I'm a waiter at Applebees.

And while you mention it, Society, why do you keep calling me the waiter from Applebees? I have never worked at Applebees. I've hardly ever eaten at Applebees! What is your problem with me? You seem to have some sort of personal vendetta that I don't understand.

And weren't you banned recently? What happened to that?
