You can't drive the ball down to the one yard line and get zero points out of it against Navy. Look at the number of possessions in the first half. You have to score TD's.

Get the fuck out of here with logic.

All I said is that it could be debated, I didn't say there is no way 2010 is better, but I believe the 2009 team was better. I say "we" as an alum of the university. Step down from your soap box....

Losing Williams really sucks. He was by far the best and most consistent player on the team and worked extremely hard to get to that point.

Until you make the decision to put your life on the line for your country, you should probably refrain from calling any service man or woman a pussy.

I always think that logic will eventually make its way on to these ND threads, but it never seems to happen....

I agree, he goes for it on 4th like Weis always did. Should have taken the FG. There is still no way you consider a game over at 0-0 5 minutes into the game when you force the other team to drive 99 yards for a TD.

You want to get in a debate with me? I'm game. What have a said ad nauseum since I've started posting on here, no one on here knows what happens in practice, what schemes a team will run out with. It's why I very rarely make a score prediction, a wise man knows what he does not know. Here's what I do know: football.

Notre Dame should be able to clog up the middle with Ian Williams, and when Navy does a straight fullback dive he has basically eaten it up today. Now, don't be an idiot and think a trap is a dive and point to their rushing success, because we don't know what Notre Dame's call and adjustments were schematically. I thought Manti Te'o would eat up outside runs, and when he is free he's destroyed them perfectly as expected. So I really don't know where you're going with this, Notre Dame is was destroyed schematically and that shouldn't happen. Diaco gets an F today.

No no, not like that. Just a drunken comparison. If doing wat you guys do makes you a actual pussy, then I guess you can call me ultra pussy. No disrespect intended buddy, minus towards the ND football team.

I don't disagree with going for it on 4th down at all. I probably wouldn't have gone with a QB sneak considering how Navy just dives at legs creating a pile.

Fairfield union grad chase burge playing well on the d-line for navy today!!

If you know footbasll then you should know that Navy has the same scheme every year. How the hell do you not know what scheme Navy will run out with???? They do the same damn thing every year. That proves you don't really know much about football.....

I haven't watched Navy since Craig Candeto was QB. They are damn good.

No, they don't. Just because you run a "triple option" doesn't mean your tendencies are the exact same, that's the whole point of SCHEMES. Don't be an idiot.

My liver hates me for being a Notre Dame fan.

And my wife is starting to get upset coming home from work on Saturdays to find me pissed off and drunk.

For the sake of my marriage and the health of my liver...I'm praying ND is better than this next year.

So what are they doing differently than they have done in previous years with their schemes???

It's like the "Department of Health and Human Services" and someone nitpicking human services. haha Notre Dame is bigger and faster, and as the game goes on that disadvantage for Navy will exacerbate. Notre Dame will get off more blocks in second half, it's just how the game works.

"it's just how the game works." lol
