He was on ESPN earlier today when he made these comments

    Oh, no! What to do?

    ok?

No one cares about the Heisman, and Ohio State is undefeated, if they lose a game, then we can talk about being 5th in the country.

OMG how will I sleep tonight!

    I want a title, not a Heisman.

This. And Herbsteit has no say in who gets the Heisman.

    You sure about that?

Pryor still has to prove himself against the good teams on OSU's schedule. He has every opportunity to go to the top of the Heisman list and OSU to the top of the BCS rankings.

    LJ...you stupid fuck.....

As a buckeye fan i wouldnt have Pryor at the top of the Heisman list just yet but i do think he will be there by the end of the year. As for 5th being generous I'm not so sure. For one we beat Oregon last tear and I dont think their a better team this year then they were then but i do think osu has improved from where they were last year. I thought Boise looked good the first game of the season until I realized VaTech was a fraud. Oklahoma has one really good win vs Florida State but has struggled against teams just like OSU did against Ill. I think Nebraska has looked great all year and could understand him saying they were better. I havent seen much of TCU but they did lose to Boise last year and lost more starters then them.

Gibby, you've gone through so many user names no one believes you. You got called out and came up with an extremely lame story about it being your brother.

I'm pretty sure he does have a vote actually. He also votes in the AP Poll I believe.

840 media members vote, the former Heisman winners vote and a fan poll goes into 1 vote.

It's safe to say that Kirk probably has a vote...

With that said, who cares about the Heisman. It's about the National title.

IF Ohio State goes undefeated in the regular season I DO NOT WANT Pryor to win the Heisman. Remember the 20 pounds Troy Smith put on?

Kirk is always full of it!!

Les Miles will be introduced as Michigan's football coach this week.

    and...

"The thing that I see, is, Terrelle Pryor came in with all the attention and all the hype and all of the athletic ability, and you don't see him progressing to become a complete 'quarterback'. Knowing down and distance, knowing about the play clock, knowing what hash you're on. Being able to read defenses, being able to just grow and develop as a quarterback.

"Listen, we've watched Tate Forcier as a true freshman have a better understanding of what it means to be a quarterback than Terrelle Pryor. We've seen Matt Barkley as a true freshman have a better understanding of being a quarterback and what that means than Terrelle Pryor. So he is not advancing as a quarterback, and to me that is more alarming -- and the fact they can't find a system that fits his abilities -- is more alarming than any of the numbers coming off a bad game against Purdue.

    "This is a big deal."

Lee Corso then suggested that OSU run the football to take some of the pressure off Pryor. Herbstreit answered Corso's suggestion with even more personal jabs at Pryor, and added some biting shots at the offensive line for good measure.

"They can't run the ball because they have one of the biggest underachieving offensive lines in the last ten years in college football history. And they are uninspired, uninspired consistently, so you can't run the football.

"Terrelle Pryor allegedly runs a 4.3 forty... that means you run away from defenders if you run a 4.3 forty. That's like having a 100 mile-per-hour fastball. He's playing like he runs a 5.3 forty, not a 4.3 forty. He lumbers horizontally. He doesn't get up field and run with the football... he looks shackled, he looks confused, his body language is terrible. Other than that he's playing well."

I stand corrected. :) I still don't care what he thinks.

Ringo Starr, Doug Flutie and Kirk Herbstreit...Top 3 guys in the Super Lucky Right Place at the Right Time category. All 3 made the most of the opportunity they were ultimately given, but all 3 kicked way beyond their coverage considering their natural skills.
