Week 6: (17) Michigan State def. (18) Michigan, 34-17

WebFireMy hope right now is that yesterday was an off game by the offense, and that they rebound and play well against Iowa. I don't even expect a win against Iowa, just a competitive showing. I think that is what was most disappointing about the MSU game.

Cleveland BuckMichigan's offense played about as well as they could today. Michigan State has a pretty good defense with guys who will be playing on Sundays next year. Robinson should have thrown away a couple of those picks, but other than that, you couldn't have expected more. Iowa's defense is a lot better the Sparty's. I don't think you can expect 17 points against them.

athlete37Another week, another 50 dollar bet won with ease lol. MSU +4.5 was like taking candy from a baby.

I don't know about that. Michigan easily left 21 points on the field. 2 INTs in the endzone, a missed touchdown throw that resulted in a FG, and a missed field goal. Iowa's defense is good, but I think we can expect more than 17. Hell they scored 28 on them at Iowa last year, and UM'soffense wasn't as good, and Iowa was ranked like 6th in the nation. -

Not really. I expected 8 wins this year and they are on par for that. So tell me what in my post is wrong? -

bo shemmy3337People need to relax. The story is the same, the defense gave up to many points. The only way Michigan is going to win this game is to have a perfect night against a good defense which is not going to happen from a sophomore QB who is known for his feet. It is going to be hard to win games in the big ten when you have to score 40 every game. If the defense could make a stop, the play calling changes on offense and there is less urgency throughout the entire game.
The only thing that is really bothering me about the defense is that the old excuse of there was no talent left over for RR to use on the defensive side of the ball. It has been 3 years and the defense has got worse every year he has been there. Remember the defense was the sole reason Michigan beat Wisconsin in RR's first year. This defense is not going to be the reason they beat anyone this season IMO.
