Brian Kelly to ND?
-
vball10setI'm listening to WLW 700am out of Cinci right now,and they're reporting hot and heavy that Brian Kelly will announce after the game Friday that he has accepted the Notre Dame job...now please,I'm just posting what I'm listening to right now...they're saying he reportedly will make $5 mil per year--tune in if you don't believe me
-
killer_ewokI don't believe it.
-
ytownfootballIf I'm ND I'm not going to hire Brian Kelly.
-
vball10setewok..I don't know that I do either, but the station is smokin'!!!
-
112in84This would be a nice upgarde for the IRISH.
-
sjmvsfscs08I vote false.
That would make Brian Kelly the highest-paid coach in America. Either it's false or the Notre Dame administration is a lot dumber than I thought they were and simply throwing a ton of money at whom they see as their savior.
I'm still praying for Bob Stoops. -
OldDanTuckerI hope that this is false, Brian Kelly is a pretty damn good coach and this would suck for UM.
-
jpake1It can't be true. We have a HUDDLER in athlete37 with SOURCES that says it won't be him. A huddler has never been wrong with their mention of sources. Just teasing you athlete37. We'll know soon enough who will be coaching at ND next year.
-
jordo212000How is he going to accept the job when Notre Dame still has a head coach?
-
vball10setlame duck,jordo--it's a done deal with ND & Weis
-
daveif it's on right now then it's tracy jones. he will make up just about anything.

Little DannyTracy and Eddie are not big fans of UC. If it was prior to Eddie & Tracy is was Bill Cunningham who is an XU grad/homer and known UC hater. I have scowered all the UC sites/blogs and have not seen one iota of this.
The timing of this one be stupid, as no annoucement would likely be made until after the UC/Pitt game next week.
Not buying this for one bit. -
Mooney44CardsI put on 700 and they're blabbing about the Bengals like anyone cares about that worthless franchise. If he was for sure leaving they'd probably be talking about that.

Crap, you mean a radio station based in Cincinnati was discussing their first place Cincinnati Bengals team. The nerve of those guys.Mooney44Cards wrote: I put on 700 and they're blabbing about the Bengals like anyone cares about that worthless franchise. Unless the next coach's current team is 6-5 and just got blown out by Texas Tech after someone said an agreement had already been made :rolleyes:se-alum wrote: It won't be announced till after the bowl games are done. I'm not buying this one bit. -

Why are you so happy to get Stoops?athlete37 wrote:

Oklahoma had 12 combined wins the three years before Stoops. Stoops has produced 114 in his decade there... Also note the 6 conference championships and 4 NC games, plus the 1 National Championship. If that's what I'm signing up for then I'm so stoked I'm whistling zippadee do da out the other end -
athlete37Hell, we're happy with 4 BCS appearances in a decade let alone 4 NC's appearances
-
devil11970-5 in the last 5 BCS games. 1-4 against Texas the past 5 years.
People give Tressel and OSU heat, but talk about a team that cannot win big BCS games. I cannot understand how Stoops has been able to not get heat in the National media. -
athlete37I would be ecstatic to get the type of production Tressel has had in the last decade. Don't use that argument because I have been on record for calling out the buckeye fans that give Tressel shit

Stoops has gotten some heat from the national media. Not sure how you missed it.devil1197 wrote: 0-5 in the last 5 BCS games. 1-4 against Texas the past 5 years.

As for his recent shortcomings in BCS bowls.....maybe he just needs a change of scenery. -
athlete37So wow, they lost to the National Champion LSU, USC, Florida teams, an unbeaten Boise team on a few miracles, and a very talented West Virginia team.... And all the losses to Texas... Stoops still has 6 Big 12 championships. Even if Texas has won the others while he's been there (which they haven't, I know for a fact KState has one of the remaining four) that'd only make 4
