And that's with shooting 3-pointers from half court in the 2nd half to not run up the score.Ghmothwdwhso wrote:
When do you play Genoa? You know they can put up 80-100 pts. each night even with their starters out at half time.RedRider1 wrote: here's the schedule for the season if anyone needs it.

Nice one..... lol. -
RedRider1Very funny....
I dont know about Shelby at all...but have to figure it's a better test than some fundamentally poor Cleveland school.
These are teams we need to be playing.
Thanks to PITman's amazing work, I counted 17 of our 20 opponents are either D1 or D2....gotta be one of the toughest D3 schedule around...and that should help us come tourney time.
BRF,
there's 3 others that are here but dont/haven't posted much...gr8fan, orrpride and rrfan...i think gobrowns showed up once too. -

rrfanThe Genoa post are cracking me up. I am sure they bring their 6th grade team up to varsity for the 4th quarter.
Some good height for the riders this year that is good to see. I wish this huddle was mobile friendly I would switch completly. I will try and check in a little more on the good side. -
FlashRR1 Try this to find out about Shelby.

You can find this discussion board if you go to Links on freehuddle and then click on the NOSF link. There's talk about the NOL league and who the best players, about Shelby, and talk about Lexington and Avery. Interesting. -

Max, Zach, Chase and Winters give us considerable size.BRF wrote: Here is our current roster. Heighths listed were taken by BRF today.

I hope Jordan Ray develops into the PG that I think he can be.
Wonder how season ticket sales went the other night. I'd have to assume there was renewed interest. But with the economy slow and Christmas coming, who knows. -
FlashWon't have everyone playing Sat. as Hoobler will sit for awhile (weeks) and Miller may not play due to an injury.
-
RedRider1Heard about that. Not a good way to start....but what can you do.
-
BRFI got my reserved seat tickets today. $65 each. There are some left and it looks like the interest HAS picked up from the last few years.
Go Riders! -
thePITmanFinal score from tonight?
-
BRFIt's tomorrow night....................Phantom of the Opera!
-
thePITman^^ That would be a good reason for no score to be posted. lol. Thanks!
-
FlashHear anything about the Smithville vs Strasburg game, Pitman?
-
FlashSaw it on the Wayne county thread. Good win for Triway.
-
rrfanLets not bring Wayne county league talk onto a quality thread. Lol.
I am joking relax WCAL posters.
What is the injury to Miller and what about Hoobler? -
BRFHey, rrfan, just checked in here before I checked out to say that Miller has some kind of a finger injury and Hoobs is having a little nagging leg problem.
-
RedRider1hoop preview is up at the blog.....
give a read a take a look at the pictures.....OF THE NEW RED UNIFORMS!!!
http://www.redridersportsblog.com/ -
BRFWe win, 65-57.
Wasson with 27 and Besancon 15.
Wasson was pretty much unstopable. IMO, Shelby made it close because of the absence of Jake. We gave too many free looks at 3's due to our top heavy side of big men.
Congrats to Coach Slaughter!
Hoobler and Miller were not even there. I wonder if they are just going to hang it up, due to their injuries and our depth? -
RedRider1^^Thanks for the report. I wondered the same thing about Chase and Sam. Seems like the injuries are the nagging kind that wont be totally healed.
-
BRFI didn't see Flash there tonight, either.
I did see bigp. He and someone else haven't figured out this place yet!! ha ha
I talked to golfman.
Oh....I also spoke to Renauld and another fella that I haven't seen in a long time: Anthony Durden. Man, I think he grew some since high school, kinda like 6'8"?
I liked the "atmosphere" tonight. -
RedRider1I think Sly is a nice link to the glory days. He can show the kids his championship ring. Instant credibility.
You didn't see me there...got a sick house....how was the crowd compared to opening nights of the past few years? I imagine Shelby brought a better crowd than Cleve. John Marshall. -
thePITmanGood job on your opening night win, Orrville.
BRF, I hope this simple message of congratulations is not "annoying."
