Nice win by the Riders tonight.

Maybe this will help us get accepted into the WCAL as a worthy opponent.

I'm not 100 % sure what was nice about this win. One of the ugliest games to date. In fact, every game in this district has been horrible. They have been close, but just plain ugly basketball! Hopefully the "DAWGS" will play clean, mistake free ball tomorrow to help take this burning out of my eyes from tonight.

    Congratulations riders.

Well........I just meant that it was nice that we won.

However, I agree with you on this low scoring bs.

Ugly games were probably due to the ugly refs ;)

IN my opinion, another playoff game where the refereeing was not playoff caliber. Way to go Riders. Take it to Wellington later this week. Good luck to Dalton tomorrow evening.

I thought the refing was OK from 2 of the ref's. The ugliness was not from the refing, but from our play. We make the game ugly by our style of athletic play with no regard to fundamentals. But it works.

One more game at WHS. Please come hungry and thirsty, Wooster has an incredible concession stand.

Your not having a pancake dinner?
It won't be hard to beat what Triway had for the girls district finals. Candy bars and drinks only , no pizza, no dogs, NO POPCORN !!!

Sure I will have a pancake dinner for you, just let me know when you want to stop by I'll fire up the griddle.

No pizza at a Triway concession stand? I really need to look into that.

Ugly is an understatement. VERY ugly gets closer to it. Did anyone notice that the only time the Riders extended their lead was when Brenner was off the floor? Did anyone notice they left 5 points at the foul line in the last minute? Helter skelter play won't work against Wellington.

Agreed...had a hot dog there last night. Very impressed. Could have ate some nachos too but I'm trying to lose weight. :)

    Can they match our athleticism?

We've already beaten two 17-win teams in a row (Loudonville and Hillsdale). A 19-win team from Lorain County wont exactly frighten us.

Glad to hear you had a quality experience at WHS. Next time try the nachos too, you can lose weight after the season.

The concession area for the finals was taken over by the pancake dinner, thus no pizza, no sandwiches, no popcorn for the finals ( they had for earlier games) but once again this year shorted the basketball fans for the finals. No popcorn at a game is very poor planning !!!! Pop it in another room and box it up and sell ! Why schedule 2 events in the same area of the school at the same time? Or schedule the game in the evening.

That is poor planning. I am sure they wanted the locals to come to the pancake dinner so they could get some last minute pimping in for the levy. But it doesn't help out the people who are there to watch games.

Seems like they have done that every season since the games moved from Smithville.

I guess next year before heading to a game at Triway you should stop at Wooster High School and buy your popcorn. Win/Win.

Maybe you could bring it down and sell it in the parking lot like the street hawkers do in downtown Cleveland.

I like where this is going.

And maybe look into a county fair style food stand and Lerch's donut wagon........... wait I am getting hungry so that's all my ideas for now.
