By the way ringz, I coughed up a dollar for some woooo popcorn :p
The way I took it was he was way out on the court yelling at the ref that granted the time out, then the far ref came jogging in to defend the other ref and told Alberts to "Stop. Stop! STOP!" (3 times). Honestly, I thought Alberts WAS being excessive, so before that ref declared the timeout to the table, he had Alberts get back off the floor. That was my take on it, at least. Then all the Northwestern fans were yelling and screaming the next, I don't know, HOUR, when the Keystone coach was barely on the floor, not yelling, not making a scene, just coaching... totally different. It was just an ugly game. Neither team shot well at all.

You wouldn't have even known he was there in the 2nd half, and he was unavailable for comment after the game.

Funny note from the game, after halftime the big black referee was on the court a few minutes , before another official told him his zipper was down :o

Totally agree. I was shocked. Just sitting there on his chair, hunched over, with his assistants just raising their hands at every "bad call". I'm sure the referee(s) said something to him (maybe in the form of a technical foul threat) to change his attitude. It was definitely night and day with the first half.

The final scored indicated his team must have stayed in the locker room for the second half too.

But don't expect any mercy when playing at Wooster with your last name being Alberts, I think that goes without saying.

He was coming to the realization that you need talent to win games...and they seem to lack that (or I guess you could say McKean graduated)

True about the popcorn, but they are slow making it at Smithville. If they moved the tournament back to Smithville, the Smithies would have a road trip to a well out of county site. Wasn't that the reason they gave up the games, they played up north because the host team can't play at that site.
