Have The Majority of American Men Become Wusses?

Upper90 wrote: LOLZ....dude, I'm so confused by what you're talking about. I don't even know what men are doing that's drawing your ire, because you've jumped all over the place and made little sense in doing so. I think PEOPLE really need to step up in some aspects of their lives, but to say that the majority of men, bla bla bla....I can't get with you there.

Unless all of this is a joke, which it very well could be.
Has to be. It makes no sense and is a bunch of incoherent, irrational rambling.

It could be the return of Mike Clark! LOL

I don't think you did. I see guys like you all the time you think you are owed something because you served your country. Well no not really while you were off serving there are men and women here losing thier lifes making this country move. There are men and women who work everyday in this country who die on the job but you never hear about them. If you didn't have the men working in the power house you wouldn't be able to judge people on the internet but you don't hear them coming on here and saying I work at a power house I'm tough shit I'm bad ass. No because they do their job and go home. I'm tired of hearing about how much money got wasted on that war and how I need to send money over seas for our troops but yet here at home were losing everything, ya that makes sense.

    Q.O.T.D.

Manaze, on a serious note, what are some steps that you feel need to be taken to change the men in this country?

Glory, I am also 26, and the bank doesn't own my car. I was going to bring that up, but figured someone else would soon enough, haha.

What? Where did I say I was owed anything? I don't feel I am owed anything, I owed this country, which is why I served. Anything I have is because I have earned it on my own, which is how I want it. I don't want to be given a thing.

How are you all of a sudden twisting the argument into this? You are way off base man.

I'm not the one saying I severed in Iraq. Anytime you get in anyting with anyone who served that is the first place they go. Its old. You got what you earned probally beacause while I'm back home working your were over seas getting paid 10,000 dollars a month to play call of duty.
  • Glory Days
i think Manaze is just pissed off at life because some 26 year old who doesnt own his car or house, who hasnt been married for 20 years, and has served in iraq has slept with his wife or something.

I thought Al Gore invented the internet!

Yep, definitely a joke. I wasn't sure at first, but now I'm on to it.

dwccrew- were you getting paid 10,000 a month over there? i know i wasnt. just wanting to make sure i didnt miss out on something. oh and manaze, are you comparing actual combat to call of duty, or are you saying that everyone over there is just playing call of duty in their tent all day instead of fighting a war?

is this G.O.A.T. from the old huddle?

1.The mother needs to stay home and raise her children until her youngest child is in real school all day.
2.People who have more than XX number of kids need to be spayed. This will stop people from having 10 kids and making future generations of people on welfare. (ya I know you might be able to pay for 10 kids, but most people can't and just like in school if they can't do it neither can you)
3.Have more defined jobs and careers. It is great to see when they build a Walmart it will creat 100s of jobs but the problem is most of those jobs are 8 dollars an hour. We have to have jobs where men who grad from high school can go straight to work and make 18-20 dollars an hour.
4.Stop with everyones rights. The only people who really have rights anymore are the people who are doing bad things. If you do what is right and try to do what is right in the end you get the short end of the stick. Make it so people who pay their taxes on year get a better tax break the next year instead of how people will wait till they 100,000s and only pay 5% of what they owed.
5.Outlaw stores like Walmart who abuse the welfare system. Walmart and most retailers make it so you can't be full time so you draw off of the gov't instead of them.

want more I can go all day.

No. I know a lot of vets who spent most of their days and nights playing the 360. I didn't mean to make it sound like the war was a joke.

Also I know some men who went over there and were making 10,000 a month just for going over. They were higher up and they were not allowed to talk about what they had to do. But they made a lot of money while over there.

I wish I was getting paid 10,000 a month, but I wasn't a military contractor, I was in the military. We got paid far less.

Also, it wasn't the first place I went. You were questioning people's "real" world credentials.

I was getting paid E-5 paygrade over there. Not near 10,000, LOL!

Also, this is probably Brad Hamilton from the old Huddle and formerly known as Mike Clark on this huddle.

Ok lets try this again. You really need to read more. When somone says what I said about that being the first place they go. They don't mean that like Iraq was stop number one. It means the mintue they don't like what they hear they say well I served in Iraq (notice it starts out where they are going from there in the conversation not a real place).

I wouldn't need to read more if you knew how to put a thought into well written words. This was a painful read.

I was on the O side and wasnt getting paid half that. Manaze, you knew a 2 star general? from a quick glance those are the only people making that much money in the military. now if you are talking contractors, that isnt military, cant even compare them.

haha and yeah i played some videogames over there, believe it or not, there is some downtime over there. and maybe people wouldnt "go there first" if you didnt call the majority of people wusses without knowing anything about them.
  • MANAZE
night, while you think about that think of this while we were being dumb on the interwebz we could have been watching a late showing of twilight

never saw the first one, I just saw an add for it on tv and how they were having a late show. I asked my sister in law and she told me it was a love story so I stayed away from it.

was a 1LT for the first 13 months, then a CPT for the last month of the deployment.
