"Who To Start" questions

Yeah, it was the perfect storm for the Browns (ignore the pun).BR1986FB;1306990 wrote:The weather was, of course, my concern. I almost switched to Stafford at the last second. Agree on the dropped balls, again. Receivers haul those in and he probably has another 70 yards and he just missed Watson for a long TD. I bet Gordon catches that pass. -
vball10setQB's: Josh Freeman @Oakland, Cam Newton @Washington or Andy Dalton vs. Denver...also, I need to dump one of these guys this weekend, and I'm thinking Newton..thoughts?

I'd probably go Freeman vs Oakland. That's a tough decision to drop Newton. Better question, why do you have 3 QBs?vball10set;1308269 wrote:QB's: Josh Freeman @Oakland, Cam Newton @Washington or Andy Dalton vs. Denver...also, I need to dump one of these guys this weekend, and I'm thinking Newton..thoughts?
Would you start J. Charles vs SD or D. Martin vs Oakland? I'm leaning D. Martin. -

With the mess in KC, I'd go with Martin.Raw Dawgin' it;1308552 wrote:I'd probably go Freeman vs Oakland. That's a tough decision to drop Newton. Better question, why do you have 3 QBs?

gorocks99Romo @ ATL or Schaub vs BUF? Romo should get more yards but he's always about to throw 4 INTs, whereas Schaub doesn't turn it over a lot but also likely won't throw for as many yards or TDs.

Eh, Romo's TDs are iffy as well. I have him and Weeden and I start Weeden half the time (as he has outscored Romo in my league several times).gorocks99;1308670 wrote:Romo @ ATL or Schaub vs BUF? I'd go with Shaub as the safer option. Romo only if you need a desperate home run pick between the two. -

Got caught in an add/drop with a bye weekend, but it gives me a little leverage for a trade...and I'd go with MartinRaw Dawgin' it;1308552 wrote:I'd probably go Freeman vs Oakland. That's a tough decision to drop Newton. Better question, why do you have 3 QBs?

BORIStheCrusherWhich two RBs...
L. McCoy @ NO
C. Johnson vs CHI
R. Bush @ Indy
R. Matthews vs. KC
I've started McCoy every week (except bye), and I've got a feeling that CJ is on his way back (had him off the bench the past 2 weeks and he's done good) but I don't know if I like him against Chicago D. I'm thinking Bush and Matthews but not sure. -
Raw Dawgin' itNola can't stop anyone so i'd go McCoy and KC sucks so Matthews should be on the field a lot. Also, there's always the chance of a blow out so even more touches for matthews.
It's your team, but i would go Shady and Matthews. -
OQBWhich 3 WR's do I start?
D. Bowe vs Chargers Projection 20 points
V. Jackson vs Oakland Projection 20 points
R. Cobb vs Cardinals Projection 17 points
T. Smith vs Browns Projection 19 points -

This is what I'd do but Bush against Indy's run defense is tempting too.Raw Dawgin' it;1309785 wrote:Nola can't stop anyone so i'd go McCoy and KC sucks so Matthews should be on the field a lot. Also, there's always the chance of a blow out so even more touches for matthews.

I'd go Vjax and Cobb. Flacco and KC QBs suck.OQB;1309789 wrote:Which 3 WR's do I start?

Isn't Tannenhill out though?BR1986FB;1309791 wrote:This is what I'd do but Bush against Indy's run defense is tempting too. -

He needs three. I'd probably go Smith too only in that Flacco sucks less than KC's QB's.Raw Dawgin' it;1309792 wrote:I'd go Vjax and Cobb. Flacco and KC QBs suck. -

He's supposedly been practicing but haven't seen his recent status.Raw Dawgin' it;1309793 wrote:Isn't Tannenhill out though? -

That was my thought.BR1986FB;1309791 wrote:This is what I'd do but Bush against Indy's run defense is tempting too. -
OQBAlso, I have 49ers Defense which is on a bye, and I have the Eagles as a backup...do I go with the Eagles who play NOLA, or do I look at a different defense to start?
-
BORIStheCrusherThe good thing is I've got all my starters and my opponent has Brady and S. Jackson on bye.
-
Raw Dawgin' it
Depends who's available. I wouldn't trust any D against Brees.OQB;1309798 wrote:Also, I have 49ers Defense which is on a bye, and I have the Eagles as a backup...do I go with the Eagles who play NOLA, or do I look at a different defense to start? -

Same here. I have the Eagles defense and I'm going to dump them. I'll probably be a waiver wire vulture the rest of the year with my defense, playing the matchups.Raw Dawgin' it;1309800 wrote:Depends who's available. I wouldn't trust any D against Brees. -
CCRollyBetter Flex? Cobb vs. ARZ or Maclin at N.O.???

Same. Maclin hasn't done much and Cobb is slowly becoming a main option for the Pack. Plus you might get a return score from him, correct?Raw Dawgin' it;1309812 wrote:Rodgers > Vick so i'd go Cobb. -
BORIStheCrusherAgree. Cobb has been awesome for me this year, especially these past few weeks.
