Disgusted with Right Wing Apologists

  • iclfan2
I talk shit about Trump nearly every day. Try again. I even hope Trump gets primaried and loses. I think he's a moron and a detriment to real conservatives. The only pluses of his presidency so far is Gorsuch, and the media finally getting the ridicule they deserve.

This thread is aimed at no longer normalizing the despicable decisions in washington.
You stated his pardoning that douche is the new "normal". If you're stating him doing it during a flood, then I'll give you that.

No my point was that Trump makes insane news stories everyday that under normal circumstances would be impeachable/completely reprehensible. I'm concerned we're becoming desensitized to and 'meh' attitude. Which is what I meant about normalizing it, the whole country is going well yeah this is crazy, oh wait he did something else crazy! What's next? Moving on too quickly, etc...

Total loss of any semblance of rational thought.

    LOL.
You did the same fucking thing during the Obama years.

^^^^I would have thought that GIF would be more applicable to boatshoes when I call out progressives for what they are.

He rails against "White identity" politics... while his Regressive buddies(tHe Liburulz) play identity politics to the hilt....Didn't you know all republicans/conservatives are racist, sexist, bigots! They are all homophobes and Islamophobes too!
but but but the NAZIs are so much worse than the oh so small number of radical fringe leftists!

As for the rightful pardon of Sheriff Joe who upheld the laws of the land, protected his constituents and our border, thank God! Compare and contrast that with just a few of the nefarious pardons issued by Bill Clinton and barack obama, who let hardened criminals off the hook.

The president was able to remind everyone of the facts ---

Talk about apples and oranges; or better yet, right and wrong.

    Come on.
If it was so rightful, why has every single important R figure come out against the damn thing?
The President can pardon whoever, that is their right. But, the main argument against the pardon is the legal process had not even played out. He had not even been sentenced and the process was still on going.
The President can pardon folks, but it looks really bad when he pardons folks when the full legal process has not even fully finished.

I shrugged at the pardon as I knew it was coming, just not so fucking soon and on a Friday with a hurricane going on.
It also showed me that if Flynn or Manaford get charged and convicted of anything regarding shady deals with foreign folks, Trump will pardon them, no doubt.

85 year old guy with a phony minor contempt charge ----- Good God ....get a life.

Let's make it simple: Apologists for a party, whether they be an isadore or a QO, tend to offer nothing but cheerleading their side while mocking the other and probably should just be laughed at for the dolts they portray themselves as being.

Lol, ol' man Joe's a POS, which any non-cheerleader can admit.

85 years old does not matter.
And in the eyes of the court, it was not phony.

Plus, the judicial process was not complete.
Again, not 1 R of consequence has supported the pardon. Their arguments against it were process, not so much the person he pardoned. (Although Sheriff Joe had few supporters)

Trump is on an island on this one.
  • QuakerOats
Again, you are incorrect. The Sheriff has tens of millions of supporters. Trump did the right thing; thank God he cares little about political optics and the little world the left-wing media spins in.
  • ptown_trojans_1
Man, I must have missed all the fellow Republicans that supported the pardon then....

This thread is most excellent. It was obvi that it was only a matter of time before Trump drove CoA off the rails.

I'll give you that then, misunderstood. I think he has played the dumbass card so much that people are desensitized to some of the moronic things he does now. Trying to figure out if it was actually his plan or if it just fell into his lap. How it usually goes for me now is OMG Trump you're a jackass just stfu, then the media completely takes it to another level of stupidity, and then I'm back to well Trump is a jackass but the F'ing left lost again for being so absurd about it.

I have actually found myself in this same exact scenario more times than I care to admit.

Same here. I was defending Trump when out with a very liberal friend and I had to stop myself and say WTF?

This pretty much sums things up, and essentially shows why the left has been getting their asses handed to them for 3 cycles.

Essentially, CoA’s dumb thread is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

For all his posturing that Obama was the worst president ever, he's very keen to jump to "but Obama did it too!" as a justification.

    What a joke.

Right Wing apologist in a nutshell.

I would disagree, seems to be a pretty solid self realization we have going on.

Wouldn't that mean that a large portion of the threads here (disgusted with Obama/Trump; disgusted with progressives, impressed with Trump [aka: partisan cheerleading] etc. are the same part of the problem?
