Impressed by Trump administration

It's very obvious trump has some sort of connection to Russia. If they can somehow prove he's been working with them for half a decade, with plans to eventually be president, it'd be a pretty shocking political story. And, again, not an unbelievable one.

SportsandLady has some serious egg on his face now. Let's see how he rebounds.

Lol. What did I say that is now backfiring? Am I being mistaken for..gulp, a libtard?!

Just posting the story on here, didn't post it as fact. I acknowledged it was unverified info, it's just my personal belief that a story like this is very believable.

And my line about trump not lasting 4 years was more about how the left wing media is throwing out stories left and right to try and take down trump. If one of them is proven to be true, they won't stop until he's gone.

FYI, he also wasn't "briefed" on it. I kinda expect you to be a little more skeptical of anything you read in the news.

there has never been any evidence linking trump to the Russians. Just go back to where the story began. It was all made up right before the election to try to help HC win.

Its funny how most of the "fake news" is actually coming from one political party that is now crying about fake news,

I do have to say this shit is far more entertaining than the Birther shit from 8 years ago. Especially when you add in the bonus of watching Birther-types being all outraged that people are spreading rumors about "their guy".

Trump: "I have a no-conflict situation because I am the president."

    Sweet. Good to know.
Going to be a fun 4 years....

Isn't that one of his top responses (along with "overrated") whenever he gets his feelings hurt? I mean, it is hilarious to see someone about to be our leader acting like a bitchy teen on a daily basis, but...

BUT....market is up, small businesses are optimistic, big businesses are choosing the build here, we won't be starting WWIII with Russia...seems worth it.

"This dude wasn't born here! His election to the office is against the law!"

    vs.

"This dude digs the Rusky hooker pee pee all over his face! He's unfit for office!"

I mean, it's not even a contest. This one is sure to be better.

I see an uptick in the stand-up comedy business with all the new material that will come out over the next four years.

If you think about it, he's the ultimate amalgamation of equality:

    - White privilege
    - Strange-colored skin
    - Immigrant wife
    - Maturity of a teenager
    - Temperament like a girl going through puberty

I mean, you've gotta find SOME common ground with about everyone there. :D

You are an admitted Clinton voter so we can see why you are rooting against Trump. It is ok, you should be used to supporting losers.

What I hoped (and looked forward to the LULZ) with Trump winning was that partisan hacks on both sides would get a good look in the mirror. Unfortunately, most of these people appear to lack the capacity for such self-awareness.

I will say the reaction to Trump is making those wingnut birthers look sane and rational in comparison.

Unfortunately the only thing that will bring partisanship back is a national tragedy. No side is immune to being a partisan hack. When a DEM is in office, Foxnews will run story after story and blame everything on the dem pres, when a Rep is in office the CNNs and the other outlets will do the same and be insufferable. It is just how the country has become.

What we do need is someone who can unite the country. Trump isnt it. Clinton certainly wasnt it either. WHom could do that?

Sadly, I dont think anyone could. I guess all we could possibly hope for is someone would wouldnt be totally hated by the other side.

An actual good economy would go a long way. If the Dems (and Trump) would stop with the identity politics and victimization that would really go a long way.

    Unfortunately this is accurate.

Hail Trump! Congratulations to soon to be President for being an agent of social change by becoming our first Urolagniac Chief Executive.

Not sure I'd go so far as to say it makes them look sane, but it certainly shows that they have company from across the aisle in the 'big bag o' crazy'. See isadore's post below, referring to Trump as the "Urolagniac Chief Executive."

I think the next time we see the potential for this is when a third-party candidate wins one day, assuming it happens. It will get the two major parties out from behind vilifying the President-Elect because they have an 'R' or 'D' next to their name.

Are you sure that wouldn't result in BOTH parties vilifying the POTUS simultaneously?

gut;1832458 wrote:Are you sure that wouldn't result in BOTH parties vilifying the POTUS simultaneously?
Oh, it will, but if the third-party candidate ends up having policy agreements with both of them, it will be hard to treat them as a full yin to the yang.

These will arise because the respective parties will have to come up with new material. If the third party were the Libertarian Party, the respective parties wouldn't be able to open fire regardless of the topic, because there are topics on which each party agrees (at least mostly) with the Libertarian Party. They'll have to look before they shoot.

When it comes to fiscal policy (in theory) or the Second Amendment, the Republicans would have little choice but to show love to a Libertarian.

When it comes to gay marriage, profiling, and foreign policy, the Democrats would have little choice but to voice their support for a Libertarian.

And with ingesting illegal substances, both parties would have to at least show some support (Republicans for things like unprocessed milk, trans fat, or 80oz soft drinks; Democrats for things like weed or shrooms).

So, there wouldn't be this ability to feign outrage no matter what the issue, because if either party were to do so, they would ostracize relevant portions of their voter base.

That might be the only hope for a responsible budget. Both the Dems and Repubs rail about the deficit when they don't have the power to do anything about it, but neither will accept the political risk when they do have the power to do something.

So to be clear. It takes 7 years and 340-50 days before you start seeing job growth as President?
