Hail Trump, the corporate sellouts pushing right to work sell it as a job creator, but 5 out 10 at the bottom have it. And the top 9 states and DC with the highest incomes all reject it.

Hail Trump! ad hominin attack, appropriately pathetic. But as to the facts: Hail Trump The top 4 New Hampshire $75, 675, Alaska $ 75,112, Maryland $ 75,594, Connecticut $73,899 all reject right to work, then Mississippi $40, 037, Arkansas $42, 798, West Virginia $42,824, Alabama $44,509 all right to work states.

Thank you for reintroducing the arms race to international relations. Gosh a ruddies we can get back to the good old days of fallout shelters and nuclear drills in the schools.
On the plus side, maybe quonset huts will make a comeback.

A few questions on your quote.

1.) When were those numbers taken?
2.) The bottom four - how many of those states have had coal/steel/other industry shut down with nothing to replace those industries?
3.) The top four - what are their public union numbers vs others?

These aren't "gotcha" questions, I think it would be interesting to see a wider scope of those facts.

Also, of the bottom five, he mentioned Alabama twice.

    Hail Trump
Mississippi should be last with $40,037 But really Alabama and Mississippi are interchangeable

Hail Trump, here is some feedback
    1. Median incomes are 2015 Median incomes from the Census. Unemployment figures are from November, 2016 from Bureau of Labor Statistics.
    2. I thought a major selling point for right to work was that by breaking union those industries would be attracted to those states. Well Alabama has had right to work since 1953, Arkansas 1947, Mississippi, 1954 It seems to have done wonders for them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-to-work_law
    3. That the states listed with high incomes all have Union membership above the national average, while Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas all have % below the national average. https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/union2.pdf

    How very imprecise of you.

Also, it's nice to hear that you've accepted the fact that you have people-focused prejudices. Trump would be proud.

I have a clarification issue with your answer to number three.

What I want to know is which has the higher numbers? Are there more public union jobs versus ... let's say... USW unions or UMWA?

Do you think that this has more to do about level of education instead of being right to work states? Mississippi, Arkansas, West Virginia and Alabama are all near the bottom of the list.

    Hail Trump!

The bottom half of that list is packed with right to work states. Arkansas, Mississippi and Alabama have had right to work for over 60 years. Enough time to both raise income and funding for education. Right to work has not produced either.

Obviously not, if you think two different states, with two unique populations, are interchangeable.

I said nothing pompous. To the contrary, I was happy for your self-realization.

You should be thrilled, then, that Trump is president. The two of you have something in common: gross generalizations of groups of people, in some cases even based on their geography.

    Hail Trump.

ok lets actually talk about something.

Looks like trump is silent on the Israel/Palestine issue today waiting on John Kerry to come out and announce some sort of agreement.

Whatever the deal ends up being, it will be anti Israel. Kerry is a spineless idiot and Obama will never back something good for Israel.

Trump will then come out on Twitter and bash the deal calling for them to wait till be gets into office so he can do it himself.
