Any update on the man trying to get into the Ecuadorian embassy this morning?

The aggregate does show Trump gained some, but that one poll is the only one that has him up.
State polls meanwhile, still lean Clinton.

And, dude the media is covering him cause he won't shut his damn mouth.
Why the hell is he tweeting insults at Morning Joe today?

Also, his new campaign manager straight up lied yesterday when she said Trump does not insult people.

Meanwhile, back at the State Department, the largest political, criminal enterprise pay-to-play operation goes unreported by the left-stream media. The liberal media is backing a corrupt, lying, criminal for president and commander-in-chief; I am not sure how we remain a republic when government is corrupt and the media is their accomplice. It is incredible we have arrived at this juncture.

Because Joe used to support him and then stopped when Trump verbally attacked that judge from Indiana or Illinois. And Trump is far too thin-skinned to let anything like that slide by.

This article is excellent in that it comes from a former Times journalist from back in the good old days when there was at least some effort to try and come across as balanced, despite the inherent liberal bent: http://nypost.com/2016/08/21/american-journalism-is-collapsing-before-our-eyes/
I look at it this way.

Everything is biased. Some media is slightly liberal biased. Some is moreso. Some is slightly conservative biased. Some is moreso.

Everyone is biased. A person's personal bias plays into how biased they think everything else is. The people who bitch the most about media bias are the people who are most biased themselves. I've witnessed far left people complain about how the media is conservatively biased, just like I can count on people like you bitching about how it's completely liberal biased. When it's probably more truthful to say that there's a lot more bias coming from the person complaining, because they're so entrenched in how far right or left their mindset is that they look at anything to their personal left or right as "bias". To a guy like you, who is a total wingnut, I'd have to imagine that any outlet that ever has any opinion about the left that's remotely non-negative is horrifyingly biased.
  • QuakerOats
You completely missed the crux of the post (again). The mainstream media (per their own polls) identifies themselves as liberal supporters by almost 90% to 10%. The massive liberal bias is real ..................but keep blaming and whining about the messenger.

Ancedotal, I know, but here goes...

Early this year I started listening to Glenn Beck on my drive home. He's on the same AM radio station that I usually listen to for my area's local talk radio in the morning. Not sure what the topic was that day but I remember that there were some interesting things being said by a call-in guest. At any rate, Beck was obviously all in with his support of Ted Cruz. Which is fine for what it is worth. As time went by and Cruz didn't win the nomination and Trump did, Beck started changing everything about his show. Every time I turned the radio on during my drive home, all he did... all he did/does... is bash Trump. That's fine too. But, jeez, everyday. The man does it to the point I think he's seriously broken in his head. He's fixated. I'm surprised his producers aren't derailing him off of his derangement for the sake of variety, if nothing else.
The man just ruined it for me. It was, I suppose, similar to listening to a creeper who couldn't get over a breakup. The only interesting outcome of listening to his show for a handful of months was the study of listening to the daily downward spiral into madness that was so blatantly obvious.
Needless to say, that was the end of my foray into listening to any of the national talk shows. I don't know how anybody could listening to him for any longer than what I did.

Rush Limbaugh did this to me year's ago.....why I no longer listen to any show of this type either on radio or television.

Similar with Alex Jones. When I started listening to him, I'd heard I might like him from a coworker, but the guy was just full-tilt conspiracy nut, and I couldn't handle it for more than a few episodes.

By none other than Wayne Root, a former libertarian, now back with the GOP …..imagine that.

“I’m a cynical Jewish Ivy Leaguer from New York. Nothing gets me too excited. I don’t believe politicians. Nor do I believe in politicians. I don’t fall for theatrical political productions. I don’t believe rhetoric or propaganda. And I’ve never teared up over a political speech in my life.
    Until now. . .
Wednesday night I found myself fist-pumping. I found myself chanting along with the crowd “USA, USA, USA.” And as the procession of mothers and fathers came up to the podium to state the name of their child -- who was murdered by illegal immigrants -- and then say “I’m voting for Trump” or “Trump is our last chance to save America” I found myself tearing up. And the amazing thing is… I couldn't stop. The tears rolled down my face.
This speech in Arizona was the game-changer.”

Trump up 2 in latest CNN poll, with this being of note: "....but independents give Trump an edge, 49% say they'd vote for him while just 29% of independent voters back Clinton. Another 16% back Johnson, 6% Stein."

Not surprised by these polls. Funny how many parts of the media have treated the "Hillary landslide" like it was a foregone conclusion. If Trump can keep some of the silly comments to a minimum, I think he will build a little separation. My advice to him would be to continue to let Hillary ruin her own campaign with her lies.

My advice to Trump would be to bother to actually prepare for the debate. His bullying/name-calling won't work in a 1-on-1 format, and with a woman...and with the media being very sympathetic and protective of that woman.

He's going to have to actually debate the issues, and he'll get killed if he isn't prepared.

On the other hand...wait until Hillary's latest uncontrollable coughing fit makes it's way thru the airwaves...and, of course, new calls to release her medical records from the Trump team.

I question whether or not he's able to do this.

Then again, I also wonder what difference it will make. The Republican base will think Trump wins the debates. The Democrat base will think Clinton wins the debates. A large chunk of the rest will think, "Really, guys? This was the best you could put out there?"

    Good point.

And I've always questioned how much of a "businessman" Trump is. Real Estate is a very different animal, mainly about design/marketing/branding and controlling your vendor costs (construction). Nothing like running a company that manufactures widgets, or even a service provider, where you have constant decisions about labor, strategy, positioning, sales & promotion on a mass-market scale. Primarily just an asset manager much more than a true CEO.

Plus, for the last 20-30 years Trump hasn't really built anything, he's just been licensing his name.
