Actually....yeah. Once they got the data in January that Trump was leading in the polls, their forecasts for primary states were pretty spot on.superman;1807918 wrote:They looked brilliant in 2008 and 2012. Not so great this year so far -
bases_loadedAll these leaks seem to prove what I have thought all along...the biggest problem with Trump is he can't be bought and controlled by the puppet masters like every other leader. George Soros is the real leader of the "free world". Of course he could also be part of the plan to make sure Soros stays in control.

Trump was leading in the polls as early as last July.
Also they wrote this hit piece in February.

But, did you follow the site through the primaries?
Once the ball got rolling and they had more polling data to include in their models, they had something like over an 80% success rate after Iowa.
There is also the fact that, and they admit this, the polling data in primaries is more risky that general election info now.
Now, we have much more robust data sets and polling data.
They also double back and check the credibility of polling firms, how accurate they are in the past, and how weighted or bias they are.
It is by far and away the best site to follow to polling info and to track the horse race.
Anyone that has taken a stats class can see that. -

As a whole, I'd say their track record still makes them pretty damn reliable. -

If they have accurate data. I don't think the polls this year will be accurate.O-Trap;1807925 wrote:As a whole, I'd say their track record still makes them pretty damn reliable. -

To be fair the same sentiment was felt 4 years ago. Voter fraud is hard to beat.Belly35;1807930 wrote:Stick those poll up your ass...

First, you're trying to use one segment of the voter population to adequately describe the whole. That's not an accurate sample of the whole when you use qualifiers for all of the segment you pull. As such, it's incorrect to say that those are the only people who qualify as "real America." Real America is far more diverse than "diesel shop, manufacturing, and everyday lunch bag working people." It's white collar executives. It's college students. It's public workers. It's the unemployed. It's the self-employed. It's the stay-at-home parent. It's the legal immigrant. It's the entertainer. These ALL account for other segments of Americana. To write them off as otherwise is not only inaccurate, but it's also a surefire way to make sure they know you don't think of them as representing real America, which is sure to incline them in the opposite direction.Belly35;1807930 wrote:Stick those poll up your ass...

I can tell you that I certainly don't want a prototypical politician with a penchant for lying in office. However, I also don't want a glorified trust fund baby who never HAD to work a day in his life, never had to put in his dues, and has spent almost his entire adulthood playing with daddy's money and daddy's company. Neither can be trusted to put country before self.
So I'll sleep like a baby voting for someone else. The last eight years have been the natural progression of the system as it currently stands, and so long as the voting public continue to bless this system by keeping it in place, "the last 8 years" will continue as a trend, no matter which one of them you put in office. -
bases_loaded"On Thursday, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson explained that President Obama was not going to interrupt his Martha’s Vineyard vacation to visit Louisiana because “he has a very busy schedule.”That schedule on Thursday included a round of golf with television star Larry David and Bain Capital co-managing director Jonathan Lavine."
Hillary Clinton did tweet about seeking the Red Cross for help so there's that...and there is also this...
12:00 p.m.
Donald Trump is receiving a warm reception as he tours a heavily-damaged portion of East Baton Rouge Parish in Louisiana.
The GOP nominee and his running mate Mike Pence were greeted by a crowd of supporters after visiting a local Baptist church where volunteers have gathered.
“Thank you for coming, Mr. Trump,” one woman screamed.
“We knew you would be here for us!” another shouted.
Trump greeted the crowd, shaking hands and signing hats.
But he turned down a plate of the south Louisiana specialty, jambalaya, offered to him.

11:35 a.m.
Donald Trump and Mike Pence have stopped at a Baptist church in a heavily damaged portion of East Baton Rouge Parish.
The Republican candidates met a group of volunteers who have been cooking meals for flood victims and helping the elderly gut their homes.
Trump asked questions about the extent of the damage and thanked volunteers for their efforts.
The candidate also met with Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council. Perkins own home was flooded.
The prominent Christian conservative says he wants Trump to “let the country know” about the extent of the damage.
Many Louisianans feel the flooding has been ignored by the national news. -
Devils AdvocateA few years ago, I started. a thread that was titled " Jesus Christ is unelectable.". I enjoyed with great success, how it rattled the righties on this forum.

Back to Hillary. Now it's Colin Powells fault she had a personal email address processing state issues and also the DNC trying to stay ahead of Wikileaks by telling everyone to prepare for lies. Lolz

When 90% of the media is admittedly liberal in their voting there really is nothing to debate. This article is excellent in that it comes from a former Times journalist from back in the good old days when there was at least some effort to try and come across as balanced, despite the inherent liberal bent: http://nypost.com/2016/08/21/american-journalism-is-collapsing-before-our-eyes/Heretic;1807872 wrote:That's the QQ mentality: Complain constantly about biased media that doesn't share his viewpoint; get all his info from biased media that happens to share his viewpoint. The majority of polls have Trump down by more than the margin or error.
Stop getting your polls from right wing sources.
LA Times / USC now with Trump ahead, without ad spending or debates. Not bad given the FULL BLOWN media assault on him which is now reaching epic proportion. -

The aggregate does show Trump gained some, but that one poll is the only one that has him up.
State polls meanwhile, still lean Clinton.

Also, a list of the latest polls:

And, dude the media is covering him cause he won't shut his damn mouth.
Why the hell is he tweeting insults at Morning Joe today?
Also, his new campaign manager straight up lied yesterday when she said Trump does not insult people.
