The area near UVA and JMU is heavy heavy blue. I'll also say the area around Richmond and Norfolk are also blue.
Now, outside the cities of Charlottesville and Harrisburg, in the wine county, it is red.
I was more so thinking of the areas outside. Dark red. The point is if you look at VA's map it is mostly red.

The VAST majority of the country is mostly red; unfortunately it is the radical liberal urban areas of high population to whom we are all having to bow to.

Way to paint every single urban area as radical liberal. Typical.
And, we all have to bow to them? I missed that memo.
Wait, does that mean also the House is controlled by the radical urbans....oh wait. it isn't.

Give me a break with your boiler plate BS.

Ohio's the same way and it went blue in 2008 and 2012.
Urban areas are blue, rural is red.

The maps are mostly misleading. That's why I like the population focused ones, gives you a better idea of how the votes are broken down.

I know how it works and that's not the point I was making. Whether he meant it or not sleepers post made it seem like anywhere you go in VA it's mostly blue and that's not the case at all. Once you get out of the NCR you realize that.

The comically radical conservative painting those with different ideologies as "radical liberal" types. Which is part of why QQuaker is so comical.

Hillary for the next 8 years. I've accepted it.

    CBS: Trump can beat Clinton...

Her negatives are almost as high as Trump's, and the games haven't even begun yet.

Could yeah, but the odds are not good.

I like how you speak to games and not policy.
I have a feeling Trump will attack Clinton over character and this will turn into a nasty mudslinging election.

...he could attack her character if she had any!

She is possibly the most manipulative, ruthless, evil minded individual I've ever witnessed in politics in my lifetime. She let our people die in Libya and fabricated the demonstration story to cover it up and everyone knows this and yet people still vote for her? Her husband cheated on her,(she new about it) and covered it up along with him just to stay in the white house all the while lying to the American people. All the polls I've seen say the American public doesn't trust here....and yet they're voting for the person who should be the most trust worthy. How fucking dumb is America????

Oh snap. Aside from the various spelling and grammar errors, burn!
Trump is just as bad with voters on trust. His numbers with women and minorities are worse than Clinton's. They both suck. It is a wash character wise to me. Trump is an arrogant asshole that says stupid shit all the time.
I have a feeling over the summer and into the fall, the race will just turn nasty and mud, and all the policy and important issues will get lost. We all lose.

Polls show she is. And, last I checked, the one that is better in the polls and on election day, wins.

Sorry, that's the reality so far.

Yeah, one of those elections that will probably be decided by which side is able to get the most people out to vote against the other side, as opposed to for their side. Which, while a microcosm of national politics in general (as most ad campaigns are all about why the other person sucks, as opposed to why you're great), will be far more pronounced this year. Both sides will have their core supporters (people who always vote and always vote party line, women determined that we need a woman president for Hillary, middle-class and lower people [primarily white] who are conditioned by talk radio and blogs that they are vaguely angry about...uh...something for Trump), but other than that, who could be inspired by either?

I know you try to act like everyone is beneath you when it comes to politics on this thread, but I am well aware of the reality. I am not disputing that. I am well aware she is most likely going to win the general. I just think it is Hilarious this is a Hillary thread and you are her personal apologist (just like you are with Obama). You don't defend her by telling us why she would be a good president, but instead deflect by telling us how Much Trump sucks, which 90% of us on this forum already know. You pretty much are confirming you can't really dispute anything that is being said about Hillary in this thread.

Go to the republican thread to post about Trump. This is about Hillary, and the consensus here is she is a **** with no integrity.

Now, if deflecting for Hillary by posting on an anonymous forum is what you need to do to make yourself feel better about voting for her or feel better for this clusterfuck election in general, then carry on.

No shit. As already stated we all lose.

I am just looking for a legitimate defense for Hillary, and the best we see is talking about how shitty Trump is. This includes Hillary apologists outside of Ptown as well. I guess it shows how truly sad this election is.

Hillary is a lying, manipulative, inept, money-laundering bitch, and masterful cover-up fraudster. Politicians generally suck, and she is at the very bottom of that cesspool.

Trump may be brash and bombastic, but you cannot even begin to compare the two.

Speaking of the Trump and Hillary fiasco...

On one hand he has been quoted as saying that her and her husband are his friend, he's known them for years and that they are good people.
On the other hand, he also has been quoted saying that she's crooked.

Ptown... for God's sake! I know she has that "D" next to her name, and for you that's paramount. But damn! Write somebody in like most others will do ffs.

Short version: At least she is the devil I know. I do not buy fully the hate and conspiracy theories that surrounds her, but do acknowledge there is some shady stuff that she has done. But, at least we all know her views on foreign policy. She is more a hawk then Obama. That is evident reading through memoirs, like Gates. Her views on Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Russia have all seemed correct during the early Obama years. Her initial view on Libya was right, but then obviously hasn't been.
But, I do not subscribe to the witch hunt that many of you on here do on the Benghazi emails, I just don't see the fire. I'm not one for conspiracy theories.

I also cannot understand all the hate and vile thrown at her on here. You can disagree with her, but damn, all the name calling is pretty petty. I don't think I could ever call another politician what you guys on here usually do. That's just me on here I guess.
All that said, again, it boils down to, she is the devil I know. I would rather trust her than whatever the hell Trump is.

How in the world can you keep claiming that she is the "devil you know?"
She has 1 principle that she stands on. "Hillary should be president." Everything else is negotiable with her.

I have no idea what Donald is or will become. His speeches and foreign policy address has so many contradictions you can drive a truck through them.
Better her than whatever the hell Trump is.
I know I am in the minority on that on here.
Then again, I have been right on the election stuff the past 8 years. Sooo. whatever.

Donald could be one of the worst candidates in the history of presidential elections, and you're using that to vote and support Hillary. You acknowledge she's shady and deceitful, but still will be okay with her because you don't know what Donald will be.

It's honestly some of the worst logic I've ever seen on here, and it's coming from a political know-it-all. Irony is ironic.

I'm saying the shady stuff is overblown and used by the right. I don't buy as much of it as you all do. I just don't. I'm not one for conspiracy theories. I also don't get the vile hatred for her.

To me, the whole Clinton hate ranks up there with the Obama is not an American, is a Muslim, is a radical radical liberal, hates America, etc. I just don't buy it.

She is not ideal, but on the main issues, I don't mind her views. She is a hawk on defense items, and that is known looking at the record.
Here is the thing, most voters will have the same view as I. Most moderates and even some R's will as well.

I'd rather not have yet another President that isn't willing to enforce and follow the law. We are a nation of laws. I'd like to see a President who has the character to enforce even the laws they may not agree with.

Is it too much to ask for the Executive Branch to carry out the oath the take?
