Hillary Clinton

Hillary is 33 points ahead in a poll in iowa in October. I'm under no delusion that she'll lose the nomination, but she's not beating Sanders by any kind of wide margin.like_that;1760635 wrote:The fact he could even get a reaction out of you, from such a predictable video is the part that sticks out to me, but whatever. We can go back and forth and pretty much say the same thing.
Back on topic. Hillary is about 33 points ahead of Bernie. What a joke of a primary for the dems of Hillary is that much of an overwhelming favorite.
Plus, as Automatic said, she's virtually guaranteed to be the president for the next 8 years after the debacle the Republicans just put on in the Benghazi hearing. That alone let her jump in the polls. -

Good point; I have no real reason to believe you were high, beyond the incoherent ramblings, so I shall retract the statement. -

They're too late - they needed to do that back in 2012 :laugh:QuakerOats;1760883 wrote:REPUBLICAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE asks IRS to audit the finances of one of the Clinton family's charities following its refusal to re-file tax forms — even after acknowledging errors in reporting donations from foreign governments.
Seriously, it's funny they would even bother after TWO head IRS officials have gone before Committee and lied. -
AppleThere is a movie coming out soon about Benghazi. The trailer looks to be pretty good.
Not sure if it is intended to make HRC/BHO look bad or to try to sway public opinion in the election (like what Dinesh D'Souza produced).
FWIW… This link seems to think it will damage HRC:

This is a potentially really interesting (and dangerous) turn in dirty campaigning. I'm not talking about this movie, which I know nothing about, but the idea in general where a rich donor or Super PAC could bankroll a pretty good film for $20M could have a profound impact on millions of viewers perceptions of a person or candidate. CNN was going to do a puff piece on Hillary Clinton at some point, but I think they pulled it after getting a lot of pressure of being wholly inappropriate for a so-called news organization to run such a piece.Apple;1761109 wrote:There is a movie coming out soon about Benghazi. Look at the impact SNL has had with its portrayal of some politicians, especially Palin. I think a movie could ramp that up significantly. -

Funny enough, I think the background to the Citizen's United case was that after Farenheit 9/11 Citizen's United decided to become a film company and made a movie about Hillary that got brought into court as campaign spending.gut;1761155 wrote:This is a potentially really interesting (and dangerous) turn in dirty campaigning. How this corrupt, lying, deceitful bitch is at the top of the democrat tickets is mind boggling. Well, maybe it isn't. -

gutLMAO, just a dog-and-pony show so Hillary can say the FBI did a thorough investigation and cleared her of any and all wrongdoing. Obama won't allow charges because unless Crazy Uncle Joe can be convinced to run, Hillary is all Obama has to maintain his agenda and legacy.

QuakerOatsFox News has learned that the FBI has expanded its probe of Hillary Clinton's emails, with agents exploring whether multiple statements violate a federal false statements statute.

While I agree that BHO could indeed allow the investigation to go its coarse, I don't see him going for a 3rd term. I'm thinking his master plan has letting HRC get indicted, she drops out of the race, then the other woman, Sen. Elizabeth Warren enters and picks up right where HRC left off. Wouldn't be surprised that if Warren wins the election, one of BHO's last things he does is pardon Clinton… let HRC go through hell, maybe even to jail, but let her off in the end…. plus he gets his girl Warren in the oval office and he can then pull her strings from the sidelines.Belly35;1762746 wrote:Obama plan is to screw the Clinton at all cost ..... it is all about Obama

If she was a Republican she would already be in jail. Instead, she will be the democrat nominee for President of the United States of America.

I have long held this position.Spock;1762791 wrote:Obama isnt going to live in the US after this is over. He is running the UN from Europe
Since the time of his reelection campaign, it was my contention that if he lost in 2012, he would move forward with international affairs. If he won, which he did, he would use some block of time - perhaps all of it - to set the stage for his departure from US politics and onto the international stage.
Those were my thoughts back then and it is interesting to see people express similar statements now. Moreover, and worse, I view much of what he is doing now as a means to that end.
