    1. You are wrong, you are either lying to try to prove your point or you just don't know. The "gap" or difference between oppose and support is nearly identical at 17% and 15% more opposing in both "Obamacare" and "Affordable Care Act" polls. So, no matter what you call it Americans oppose it. Now, do the actual numbers of support and oppose change based on the name? Sure they do, but the fact still remains that nearly the same difference in percentage exists and more oppose.

    2. Of course if you cherry pick a few of the tenants of the law that people like and ask them if they like it, they will say "yes". However, when to insinuate that those few questions embodies the whole law is an outright lie. You notice there were no direct questions about the fact that costs are going up due to the ACA? If you tied each of those "yes" questions with an actual cost per family that said provision would raise the cost, I bet the answers would vary MUCH more.

    3. Just admit it, just as Americans were against and still are against the Patriot Act, they are even more against Obamacare. Matter of fact, the Patriot act still held a 46/34 FAVORABLE rating while the ACA has an unfavorable rating. There is NO way around it, the country does NOT want this law no matter what you call it and no matter how you try to spin it.

    This kind of shit is scarier than the fact ObummerKare blows. Why do Twitter and Facebook feel the need to shut down sites that conform to their rules...just not their politics. And the state-controlled media is silent about it as usual. I remember the days when the Left would go apeshit when book-burners took to the libraries...but no longer is free speech adored when it confronts their idealism. Scary indeed.

    i've posted this before but I'll repeat it. I'm FB friends with 50-75 of folks that are dyed in the wool Dems and liberals. They haven't made a peep in months aside from my father in law (who is hugely liberal) who crowed about his new insurance coverage until my wife called him out on it....he made it up.

    As far as being covered, yes. He might, might have had a response from the Department of HHS but he hasn't been confirmed....there is no way he is one of the handful or so of people that have actually received coverage. Plus his partner (husband) is a retiree from American Airlines where the union policy is likely better than what he can get from the exchange.

    The whole thing is just laughable. There was no way insurance companies were going to honor policies - forced or otherwise - that charged a lower premium than the overall pool.

    The funniest thing is somehow the biggest whopper to "save $2500" has gotten little attention.

    All the enabling and excuses going on is exactly why politicians continue to lie, spin and deceive. I've said this before - people's "outrage" over such tactics is purely partisan and then when it's a policy they don't like they can't understand how the POTUS gets away with it.

    People are stupid. It's hard to argue with the idea that we have the govt we deserve.

If socialized healthcare is such a good idea then why try to hide it? My wife had stronger words about it this morning from Munich, or Frankfurt, or some place weird in
