    And Paul is 100% correct in that these answers need to be public.
    Sure, and there will be public hearings next week.
    But,will McCain duck those too?

    And, no Paul cannot get the record of what was said in the briefing as it was classified.

    I'm sick of it really. All bluster and political BS from the right on this.
    It was an intelligence and bureaucratic failure that happens. You move on, adjust. It is not some grand conspiracy. Please,. Give it up.
    No one inside the business is as crazy about it as most of the right is.

    Ha McCain's responses when the press questioned him on this;

    "Because I have the right as a U.S. Senator to have no comment and who the hell are you to tell me I can or not?"

    When asked why he missed a meeting concerning a matter he's been so upset about he says; "I'm upset that you keep badgering me."

    LOL.

    Shameless grandstanding.

    I agree with you that there is no grand conspiracy, the rest of this post is pure garbage. Of course people "inside the business" aren't crazy about it, they are dependent on this incompetent administration

    You should be sick of it because your Donks are incompetent. If this was a GOP administration the MSM would have demanded Rice's resignation, if not Clinton's. Instead we have Rice possibly being elevated to Secretary of State. Is there anyone inside the beltway with an IQ above 70? Is this a South Park-esque Officer Barbrady "move along, nothing to see here" moment? Do you realize how terrible the administration has handled this situation?

    Deceipt, lies and duck & dodge. It's really quite pathetic. I've repeatedly said how Americans are appalled a this sort of propaganda and spin only when it's the other guy or when it goes against what they want to believe. And then they continue get outraged when it happens again and again.

    And we all know why the press is largely looking the other way. Another pathetic justification on your part. If it's a bureaucratic and administrative failure, then what is so hard for Obama to just admit that? "Did you give the order to send in support troops". It's a simple yes or no answer. Stop making excuses for your boss.

    This. Ptown doesn't seem to grasp (or intentionally ignores) that what has people angry is the lack of transparency from the self-proclaimed "most transparent administration in history".

    And quite honestly it sickens me to see Obama play the "morality" card with indignation every time he's challenged. Like how dare you question him. That IS the job of Congress and the media. I honestly can't recall a POTUS who so frequently and easily attempts to bully people who criticize him. It's one thing to do it in the campaign (which doesn't make it any less disgraceful to the office), but to do it in a PC and other official statements is deplorable. People respect you for your leadership, not because you command them. It's all rather desperate and pathetic. It's almost like he's under the illusion of having received a mandate he clearly did not get, or believes if he acts like he has a mandate that people will roll over.

    Whatever damage Bush did to the perception of the Office Obama seems determined to finish the job.
