I was mocking the thread, but hey I'm glad you had a comeback.2kool4skool;1318930 wrote:You seemed to want to get into some "truther" conspiracy theories earlier. Just run with that. -

No, I'm pretty sure the reasons are very relevant to the solutions. I mean, if I'm 6'8" statistically I have a better chance of playing in the NBA.2kool4skool;1318915 wrote:What that is due to is irrelevant to the fact that it is better statistically to be born white. -

you need to just shut your mouth. mugsy bogues was black and 5'3'' he paved the way well before Obama did.gut;1318940 wrote:No, I'm pretty sure the reasons are very relevant to the solutions. I mean, if I'm 6'8" statistically I have a better chance of playing in the NBA. -

I completely agree it's relevant to the solutions, but that's not what we were discussing. The solution to the issue doesn't change the fact that it is in fact preferable to be born white at this point in time. If for no other reason than you are therefore statistically less likely to be born into poverty.gut;1318940 wrote:No, I'm pretty sure the reasons are very relevant to the solutions. Though I'm unsure how a thread about Patraeus fucking some chick turned into whining about minorities/poor people in the first place. -

correlation =/= causation....which is what I think many find offensive about the argument. The proper way of looking at it is if you aren't borne into poverty, odds are you're more likely to be white. The way you framed it actually is racist because it suggests success is solely determined on skin color to the exclusion of ability.2kool4skool;1318948 wrote:The solution to the issue doesn't change the fact that it is in fact preferable to be born white at this point in time. The question that puzzles me is why is the CIA director able to pull better tail than the POTUS? Now if we bring in Kennedy maybe not -

Which is what I said in the above post.
Never said or implied that as my belief. A person born black is more likely to be born into poverty. I said the reason for this is up for debate, which it most certainly is. Some say there is still societal prejudice, others say there is a problem within the black community. Insecure people may say it's because blacks are inherently worse in some way, doesn't really matter to the context of my point. The way you framed it actually is racist because it suggests success is solely determined on skin color to the exclusion of ability. -

An equally important question. Though Michelle is certainly the best looking first lady in my lifetime(not saying much) there is room for improvement. I like the idea of a single President, being photographed by TMZ sneaking a young starlet through the Rose Garden at 3am.gut;1318981 wrote:The question that puzzles me is why is the CIA director able to pull better tail than the POTUS? As am I. Considering the participants in this affair are white and in no ways poor. There is much to say about the other discussion but I'll leave that one alone for now.2kool4skool;1318948 wrote:Though I'm unsure how a thread about Patraeus fucking some chick turned into whining about minorities/poor people in the first place.
Now back on topic. I would not read much more into this at this point than simple human nature. The dude spends large amounts of his time away from his wife. An attractive women comes along and spends significant amounts of time with him aiding in authoring his personal biography. He shares details of his career and personal life as a necessity of the business relationship. No doubt off the record personal conversations were born of this. Then the morning runs together. A man of power and influence also has the immediate attraction of some women.
Leaders in the positions of power that Petraeus held swear vows of loyalty. When they violate vows of loyalty to their immediate family whose value would be perceived by many as above that of government. It creates a spirit of doubt. Especially among subordinates. We are talking about national intelligence were vows to secrecy are life and death. Petraeus realized this and did the right and honorable thing for the nation instead of clinging to power at all costs. At this point this is all I can reasonably make of this. -

Maybe he did the honorable thing and put his country above his party? I dunno. Why create political turmoil just prior to an election before all the facts are in your hands? It would have appeared petty. Politically I just can't imagine what would be gained by it absent any real facts supporting a cover up by the administration. As much as I disagree with Obama on nearly all of his agenda he did not order Petraeus to fuck this women.IggyPride00;1318312 wrote:It is being reported (and confirmed) that Eric Cantor knew about the affair in October.
I wonder why he kept quiet, as exposing a scandal among the administration would have probably hurt the President leading up to the election. -

majorsparkThis thing is turning into a real soap opera. These babes must be wild in bed. This Kelley chick gets brains to drop below the belt anytime a guy comes in contact with her. 20,000 - 30,000 emails. FBI agent investigating the case sending her shirtless photos of himself in an attempt to get a piece of her ass. WTF?
There might be more to this than I initially thought. -
gutThis whole saga is only confirming that age-old wisdom of women being attracted to power. It's all starting to sound like Desperate Housewives in real life.

2kool4skoolThese chicks are crazy. For anyone that has ever stuck their dick in crazy, I don't think any of their subsequent behavior is too surprising.

se-alumPure coincidence that this comes out the week between the election and Benghazi hearings!

And married to successful guys. So what's up with the cattiness - I doubt any of them were planning to leave their spouses and hoping for the same. Now the report chic, I could see how access was important to her. That's probably 50% of her motivation in all this (the other 50% being close to someone with so much power).2kool4skool;1319343 wrote:These chicks are crazy. Uhhh no. Unless you have evidence to point to that conclusion, no.QuakerOats;1319955 wrote:Was this situation being held over General P in return for favorable testimony re Benghazi?
And he will still testify in the coming weeks. -
like_thatLooks like Petraeus is still going to testify regarding Benzaghi. Unfortunately the liberal media will paint his words as tainted if it hurts Obama. The same media that slobs on Clinton's penis.
