With Worthington, New Albany, Dublin and UA having school issues, it may keep Franklin County closer which would help Romney

I voted Rupert. Brown and Mandel are both tools.

Remember when everyone was crying that we should go to the popular vote? Looks like that would be a good thing for Romney, up 5% nationally.

I am not a fan of Brown, but Mandel just seems shady as fuck.

Other than that....I hope everyone wins. Go Politics! #battle

Northen Florida is Republican territory, and the polls just closed in the panhandle at 8.

Romney's internals did have him losing Ohio by 5

At the same time, Dade and Palm Beach County have returned about nothing and is solid D, so it'll balance it out.

Whoa Romney getting it close in Florida!

I keep hearing that voters from around akron were leaving without voting because of the long lines. Do you ever think there will be a time where online voting will be secure enough to happen and prevent this kind of thing? Sorry if this has already been discussed...I typically don't read this forum...and am not as well informed on politics as most.

I really wish that we would move to a 100% online voting system for national elections. 70/80+ million Americans trust the government with their SS#/banking information when filing tax returns, so I don't see why an online system that updates results as they come in wouldn't work.

Looking like Obama held most of his 2008 early voting advantage in OH.

Appears FL will be down to the wire, and they just said 35k absentee ballots had errors...and if it's mostly Dade County I'd guess that's +10k for Obama.

Still early, but most were giving FL to Romney and it looks much closer, leaning Obama at this point. Virginia might be too early to say, but suprisingly going to Romney in a big way.

So far looking like the comlete coin flip most predicted.

Then they would have to give out Obamamacs!

Reporting 2 hour lines still in the panhandle.

If that's the case, and/or Romney loses FL...then he HAD to have Rubio. But maybe he got turned down? We may only know if Romney loses.

everyone eligible to vote in this country has SS#, just instead of marking boxes on a form or an electronic voting machine, set up computers with secure internet access at polling places and do it that way.

I know the older people will have issues with this, but in 10-20 years when the generation of smartphones has grown up and into their 40s and 50s, no reason voting can't go online.

If Obama keeps his current lead and we get to 35-40 of the vote will they call it?

That's how I decided my votes. Which candidate #battles the most.
