Election Day 2012

se-alumSounds like turnout has been very high thus far. They just talked to a gentleman on the radio that has been working his local polls for 50 years, and he said he has never seen such a high turnout.
-
sleeperFrom what I've heard it's mostly Gary Johnson supporters. Is anyone actually voting for Romney or Obama?

justincredible
This is what I've heard as well.sleeper;1313895 wrote:From what I've heard it's mostly Gary Johnson supporters. Is anyone actually voting for Romney or Obama?
This was my first time voting at my new polling location and it was awesome. I just walked across the street to the school gymnasium and was done within 5 minutes. Living in a small rich neighborhood is nice. -

DOJ came down so hard on them for the same thing in '08...can't believe they'd try it again. /sarcasm -

+1
I'm usually an election officially in the not so pleasant areas of Columbus and it's crazy how people just follow what others say... -

With all respect, when we're talking OBAMA and ROMNEY as the two main candidates, where do "rational minds" come into play? The ones who vote for someone else who has no legit chance to win? Or the ones who pick one of the two as the lesser of two evils even though they'd rather have someone else?hasbeen;1313953 wrote:This. There's a lot more ignorant sheep then there are rational minds.
Because anyone who is completely on board with either of the two probably is more of a sheep than a rational person. -

I would say Romney. More voters means the usual non-voters want to be heard. And I have a feeling that is not good for Obama.sleeper;1313950 wrote:Obama, easily. -

queencitybuckeyeWas so painless this morning I'm heading back after work to go again.

Ty WebbJust read on a blog that Franklin and Hamilton counties may approach 2008 levels

Vote early, vote often, I always say.queencitybuckeye;1313963 wrote:Was so painless this morning I'm heading back after work to go again. -
se-alumImpossible to say who high turnout favors. The GOP simply didn't vote in 2008, so a high turnout could very well mean the GOP are out and voting. Also, it's easy to see that the Obama excitement is not near what it was in 2008. If I had to guess, I would say a high turnout favors Romney in this election, just my opinion though.
-
Belly35The wife an I was the first in line to vote this morning With coffee in hand and my Republican card in my back pocket for everyone to see...
At 6:10 this morning there where about 30 people in line and by the time the doors open a additional 20 people showed up. In 2008 we where again the first in line however the turn out was not the same "less" much less.
I'm going to say that this is a good thing for Romney .... think that those Dems that are concerned for this country are coming out to vote against Obama and the Reps are in full force.
This will be a landslide in Romney favor and sending a message to the Dems that America rejects socialistic ideaology. Dems will lost all three branch ..... -
QuakerOatsI believe a good turnout favors Romney this time; the anti-obama fervor is running high. This seems like a continuation of 2010 ....... not good for obama.

Had a similar thing happen but in the NC Governor race. Got it taken care of but didn't alert the workers. Figured it was just user error and I assumed I didn't hit my choice clearly enough. There are several options to review your ballot as you go on so it got worked out.WebFire;1313959 wrote: -

I don't understand what this person is doing. Gary Johnson's name is at the bottom.WebFire;1313959 wrote: -

Surely you aren't suggesting that a voter be responsible for double checking their ballot before submitting it?mucalum49;1313997 wrote:Had a similar thing happen but in the NC Governor race.
