Election Day 2012
-
TedShecklerRomney concedes Ohio per my internal sources.
-
ts1227Florida seems to have their shit together this year, 28% counted and the Central Time Zone is still voting until 8
-
LJDispatch is showing Romney having a 3 point lead in Ohio as of 7:42
-
tk421BBC has Romney 33 to 3, for what it's worth.

Why did you even bother driving to the polling place? -
tk421Romney winning the popular vote so far.

Cleveland Buck
The election is a referendum on the performance of our rulers. Romney and Obama represent "yes I approve". Everyone else represents "no I don't approve". So the real question is why did you bother driving to the polling place? 95%+ of their most obedient subjects will go out and vote yes. They didn't need your vote.jordo212000;1314371 wrote:Why did you even bother driving to the polling place? -

Classyposter58Everyone at my work voted for Obama but I also work at an urban union shop. Safe to say I wasn't in my crowd to talk politics today

Pick664-40. 'Bama

tk421I like how all these sites, Fox, CNN, etc. are calling states with 0% reporting.

Ahh I've been avoiding political debates. I could care less who rydawg votes for, but voting for a 3rd party guy is a waste of time. -
Pick6
yeah that confused me.. why would they do that?tk421;1314385 wrote:I like how all these sites, Fox, CNN, etc. are calling states with 0% reporting. -

Because those two guys are the only two people who can actually win the election? -
tk421Most of them are either firmly R or D, but you never know. They should at least wait until some votes have been counted.

Yeah in one case they projected Romney to win one even though he was down more than 10%
But states like Illinois are obvious. No way Obama loses that one -
tk421you never know. That would be funny, Obama losing his own state.
-
tk421so, which news site is the best for results?
-
Pick6well, FWIW, CNN has Romney as losing Massachusetts
-

Fox is way right, MSNBC is way left
I usually lean towards CNN? They have some semblance of balance -
tk421with 0% reporting, they must have a good crystal ball.
-
tk421I think I'm liking the Washington Post site, they won't call a state until at least 10% is reporting.

rydawg5I think it takes more courage and patriotism to stand up what you believe in even when you see the outcome is gravely dim. It takes patriots to make change, even if the first ones are sure to fall. To make change is not easy. It's taking the brainwashing plug out of your brain, throwing it down and running toward the light of liberty and freedom to pave the way to the future generations to have a better shot at it.
