  Will be interesting to know if a libertarian in FL took the 40,000 votes that Romney needs to win the state. Possible that a libertarian stands between a Romney win or an obama win. That would be a shame.

  I wanted him to win. I also think that given the same resources and exposure Romeny had that Gary Johnson could have really put up a good fight. Also as for someone else who actually ran, he would have been my third choice, I do think Jon Huntsman could have put up a good fight.

  That's not the issue. They are losing this election because of OH and/or FL. They lost those states because of minorities and the poor/middle class. If they want to win another election they will need to pivot toward socialism.

  I think this would actually be a good thing ... at least a third party, in some capacity, would have had an impact on this election. A baby step toward third-party legitimacy would be a refreshing end result, in my opinion.

  My fingers are crossed that business throws in the towel and starts putting their cash to work. Waiting out Obama for a year or two is a lot different than 4 years with no clue what direction we go from there.

  2014 won't matter either. I'm stunned that Obama was even in this race let alone actually win re-election after the last dismal 4 years. If this is acceptable to the American sheeple, then 2014 won't be any different.
  
  As far as business letting loose why should it? Higher taxes, Obamacare, etc. only means businesses (especially small businesses) are likely to continue to hoard their cash.
  
  Look for stagnant unemployment and slow growth for the foreseeable future. Lovely.

  How is that a good thing? It will just make it that much easier for the Dems and their socialist agenda to win elections. That was the point some of us have been making all along.

  The Obama campaign might have been the single greatest campaign I have ever seen.
  
  They said the electorate would look like it did in 2008 and that all the new minorities and young people and all that would happen again and I thought they were nuts.
  
  Big winner tonight also is Nate Silver, who was pretty much dead on again.
  
  I am personally stunned as I didn't see this coming. Most of the polls were wrong because the likely voter models weren't getting an accurate picture of the electorate. The Obama team clearly new something we didn't.

  I am still an eternal optimist that some day this country will grow beyond the two party system ... but that is a story for another day.

  It's not loaded talking points. Plenty said this in the prior weeks. That's why some of us viewed this election as so critical. It puts the US on what may be an irreversible path toward the European model. And as I've said many times, that means persistently high unemployment, large deficits, and stagnant growth.
