Belly, will you give this undocumented citizen crap a rest. Do you honestly think is he wasn't a citizen,Hilliary Clinton or John McCain wouldn't have put that out there and drilled him and the public about it?

This has nothing to do with your remark to Belly, but, HillBill DID put it "out there" to the public.

I don't know about McCain. He had to prove himself to be eligible. Don't ya remember the little committee thingy???
So, regardless of who was your horse to win, Obama wouldn't be the first or only person to have to do such a thing.

How people can support racial profiling is beyond me

The law specifically prohibits racial profiling, gibbster. Try again.

Michelle Obama "put it out there" also:

I see Gibby is back from exile- was that self-imposed or Mod-imposed?

Every time you make ridiculous claims you take away any credibility your argument might have.

I thought this article was very well balanced and touched on pretty much all of the criticisms/benefits of the bill.

But you go right on ahead and keep spewing Rush,Beck, and Hannity talking points

What did I say in my post that was a Rush/Beck/Hannity talking point? I read the law, period. The law specifically prohibits racial profiling.

    You are wrong, 100%.

even without this law, racial profiling exist. racial profiling is always illegal. if there is found to be profiling in the enforcement of this law, the case would be thrown out just like every other case that involves profiling is thrown out.

When you're right you don't care about credibility because you have it .....when you're left you never had credibility to worry about.

Let me just point out that there always has been and always will be racial profiling to some extent, for police to do their work.
    It's called "description".

And guess what: there's gender profiling that goes on right along with it.

The race card is in the same category now as "git-r-done" and "let's bash God/religion".
    Get over it.
Find something new to entertain us, please.

Oh I see the old "my opinion is the correct one by nature of it being my opinion" argument. Very well thought out there Belly.

Credibility comes with facts, here are some on Obama's citizenship.

You're a good poster except when you try to reach to make your sworn enemy (those hippy loving liberal scum) bad despite not having a grounded argument.

You have plenty of real reasons to be upset at Obama and should use them instead of made up conspiracy theories.

I completely agree that some folks may have reasons to be upset with President Obama..but this birth thing isn't one

I understand if some of his policies have made you upset...but some of you never even gave him a chance..you were hating on him before he was even in office

Not really because you'll still continue to post absurd things about how Obama isn't a citizen, etc. When you're complaining about real things that you think he made mistakes on (regardless of whether I agree) I have no problem with it. It's just that the conspiracy theory type stuff drags down the whole conversation. It's why you won't see me posting how Bush orchestrated 9/11 (besides that it's completely untrue and silly). Those types of things don't really amount to viable discourse on political ideas and our reactions to them.

I'll agree with most of that, but, from the FactCheck article:
The document is a "certification of birth," also known as a short-form birth certificate. The long form is drawn up by the hospital and includes additional information such as birth weight and parents' hometowns. The short form is printed by the state and draws from a database with fewer details. The Hawaii Department of Health's birth record request form does not give the option to request a photocopy of your long-form birth certificate, but their short form has enough information to be acceptable to the State Department. We tried to ask the Hawaii DOH why they only offer the short form, among other questions, but they have not given a response.
Obama's camp is spending lots of money to prevent the release of the long form, for some reason.

I've never had to present a long form birth certificate at any place that needed mine.

Arizona was right to do what they did.
What a shame illegal foreign invaders maintain permanent lookouts on US soil. And the federal government is suing Arizona. What the hell is going on?

We should send in the military and drive these bastards back to Mexico. Dead or alive.

The above is a newly found audio clipp from 2004 in which Obama explicitly says ultimately you can't secure the border until you secure amnesty for those already here. Border Security in this case is the carrot to make Republicans agree to amnesty. If you secure the borders, then there is no motivation for amnesty to be provided so you must link then, it is a trade-off as he says.

And now he is running the country with the exact same philosophy according to Senator Kyl. Amazing.
  • FatHobbit
IMHO, amnesty is a slap in the face to all the people who go through the process legally.
  • tk421
Amnesty will be even more open shores for the U.S. You will not be able to stop the tide pouring into the U.S. once they know all it takes is 10-20 years then they will get their citizenship. It will all happen again.
