Minnard from BC is a freshman wrestling 113 and the Minnard from AC is a senior wrestling at 182. Both are very tough kids. Should b a great dual between TV and AC. 152 will b the weightclass to watch thursday.Cthelites;1056604 wrote:Oops my bad.
I was debating on posting where I dont belong lol! -
keato5Yes the tri at HT should be interesting. We saw LV over the weekend, and they are solid starting at 132......And 120 not bad either . The three duals should be fun to watch, CV has alot of holes in lineup but still should compete.
-
GmanFinally league starts today. Ready for 5 pm . AC and TV will be good to watch but look for BC to get 3-5 solid wins against each tonight. ,113,120,152,160 sneak couple in somewhere above here. Good luck to all the wrestlers and teams.
-
GmanThose going to BC TRI tonight also will see great Junior High action. BC JH is looking very solid.

BC does have some good kids, however sneaking in some wins against AC and TV is very tough. I would like to see Shannan vs Minnard....Should be a good one. -

Looking forward to it Keato. Minnard has been solid so far. Expect him to do some damage at Bill Dies tomorrow and Saturday.keato5;1058646 wrote:BC does have some good kids, however sneaking in some wins against AC and TV is very tough. Yea, that should be a good match for sure. Carroll sent like 3 or 4 kids to states last year, will be interesting to see if Amanda or Teays can win any of those weight classes where those boys are at.keato5;1058646 wrote:BC does have some good kids, however sneaking in some wins against AC and TV is very tough. Not that it matters, but when was Hackett named coach? The first email about making this tri happen was circulated in March of 2011 including Coach Beggrow of Hamilton...bribacker51;1057788 wrote:Hamilton Township will kick off league meets with Circleville Thursday and coach Hackett was able to pick up Licking Valley to make it a Tri and pit 1 vs 4 in the area should make for some great upper weight matchs. -

Coach Hackett was announced as the Coach after the season last year, Bribacker could have some specifics I am sure. If I am not mistaken Coach Beggrow refers to the Head A.D. at H.T. Good luck tonight Coach Tim, should be some good match-ups. I will be on site for sure.CoachTim;1058972 wrote:Not that it matters, but when was Hackett named coach? So you are saying these weight classes are guaranteed wins for BC, plus hoping to sneak a couple of more in there as well... I guess we'll see tonight.Gman;1058563 wrote:Finally league starts today. GmanHaha , nothings guaranteed in life. Just where odds are favored for BC. Will see what happens.

Best of luck to the Gales as well!Gale_force;1059175 wrote:Hey, I tried right. LOL I agree, should be a good one. -
Gale_forceThanks, for the most part, I follow Lancaster & Amanda throughout the season. I believe the Gales are peaking at the right time, alot young good wrestlers on the team. The Gales have wrestled a pretty grueling schedule, but I hope it pays off in the end.
-
GmanAmanda definitely going to make a solid run in MSL Buckeye. Top of my head Shannon,Dilley,Horn,Tipton very solid sorry not real familiar with rest of the team. Teays Valley is loaded both Nace's,Luft,Leidecker. Gales doing well in D1 from what I had read briefly.

Dad4SportsCW 42 FU 27
FU 36 LE 33 came down to the last match team score tied....thrilling finish as the FU wrestler won a tight decision I think (maybe 12-10?)
CW 36 LE 33 another rockin' finish! About midway through the match they started wrestling on both mats to speed things up. CW had approx a 30-18 lead as things were winding down. Shortly thereafter two quick pins in succession on the one mat by LE left the Braves leading 33-30......this happened while the 182 lb match was being wrestled on the other mat. That match was tied at 4 late in the 2nd period.....CW needed to win by no less than a major, as LE held the tiebreaker criteria in its favor. Suddenly freshman Aaron Graber (?), put the LE kid on his back and secured the pin with only seconds remaining in period to give the Indians the victory. Pretty cool stuff.....
Nice move by the CW coaches....took a double forfeit at 220 and bumped their 220 up to 285. Max Lacy came up big with an 11-5 win at 285....Indians were +3 at 220/285 with the move.....otherwise they would split the point between those 2 weights and lost the match tied at 33 (losing the tiebreaker). -
bigdawg152 was pretty exciting. Horn beat Brandon Farrell like 4-3 and then majored Zack Gibson,13-3 I believe. The Aces also beat Teays for the first time that I can remember somewhere in the neighborhood of 38 - 26 or something like that. Good job Aces!

Wow! Did the Vikings have kids missing from the lineup, or did the Aces simply take care of business? Huge night for Horn......bigdawg;1059690 wrote:152 was pretty exciting. bigdawgI don't know their lineup from top to bottom, but from what I could tell, they appeared to have everyone there and wrestling. Amanda & Teays both moved a couple of kids around to try and get the most points available, but for the most part everyone appeared to wrestle their weight classes. This amanda team is pretty good. Teays like always is very good again this year, was a very good battle.
-
acedogI just want to say that if you wasn't at the BC meet and watching Teas, Carroll, & Amanda fight it out YOU MISSED OUT!!!! Match of the night was Gibson Vrs Horn. This Horn kid is for real. 13-3 final score and Gibson don't get beat easy. Amanda beat Teas tonight pound for pound. I want to see a rematch with Horn and Gibson and I think we will!!!! I thought BC done well there just a few roster spots away from being a contender. Anyway what a MEET some great matches!
-
bigdawgI agree Acedog, awesome matches. Amanda vs Teays was a very good dual, Coach Nace always has a tough team and this year is no exception...The Aces beat a really good teays valley team and if the Bulldogs had a full roster, they would definetly make some noise in the Buckeye this year...some very good wrestlers..Gibson & Minnard are studs.

cruiser_96Someone is going to hace to talk USMC down from a ledge!!! I am VERY impressed with an Ace win over the Vikings.

bushLicking Valley beat Hamilton 43-21 and circleville by like 18 or so. The Amanda and hamilton will be a good dual because Licking valley beat both of them by about the same score. Hamilton and circleville tied but hamilton won on crietria
