The Wrestling Thread that's not about anything.....

I just watched Tangled. Excellent animated movie.

My favorite part was when Flynn was running from the guards. In his attempt to hide from them, he stumbled upon Rapunzel's tower. In his attempts to see what was going on, he climbed to the top. It was then that he "met" Rapunzel. She hit him with a frying pan, knocking him out.

Now, why would she fear him? Well, she let him know. It was obvious (to Rapunzel) that Flynn was there in pursuit of her hair. The OBJECTIVE TRUTH LESSON is that Flynn had NO CLUE about her hair and, in this instant, she was delusional, at best, concerning the current state of affairs.

Excellent lesson that I took the time to teach me 6 year old. I relayed to him that it was this type of thinking that makes people egomaniacs and narcissistic.

Unless you got a new job selling online subscriptions to The Daily Record, that is a fail on the article post.

All that link wants me to do is buy a subscription and provides no article.

Kind of makes your post just as meaningless as all the others on here.

Typically The Daily Record "locks" online articles that are popular on their website. They are only able to be viewed by paid subscribers. I believe that is the case here.

I did read the article in the DR. Congratulations to the two student athletes involved.

Wow Lighten up on your poor 6 year old! Talk about far reaching and over thinking! LOL Did you also teach your little 6 year old about your goal to reach 35000 hits(6 months and your not almost there) and your wasting time on 2307 posts?
Tangled was a good flick ! My two 2nd graders and I have watched it 3 times already and I saved them any deep lectures on "narcissistic behavior" We ate popcorn, laughed, and snuggled on the floor under a blanket fort we made. Well I'am out of here again for a long time ... Go back to your Important "Mission" you have 10000 pointless sarcastic post to go . it looks like I provided a small spark to get you going again! LOL! Knock yourself out it sounds like a narcissistic important mission to you ....Imagine what a big deal you will be if you ever hit 35000 views on this non subject, pointless mission. Back to "Wrestling practice and actually helping kids get better at something" Enjoy...do your thing!

Of course you didn't have to teach any lessons about narcissistic behavior, your kids probably have a better understanding of it them most people...being that they see it every day.

Falcons: We watched and enjoyed the first 5 times. At some point, lessons have to be taught. He recently had a situation at school that he felt he was being "slighted" by another kid. It's a scary place to be... the center of the universe. (ps: Wouldn't you know the kidos are asking to watch it again!!! :D here we go...)

Oh yeah, I thought about this on the way home... I think women that dip are unattractive. Or should I state, the fact that they dip is unattractive. Good news is, I'm not looking anymore. Bad news is, they are still out there. EEK!

    Also, Go REDS!!!

    Right now, I'm watching previews.

No, Cruiser...this is more like Coach Marinelli....

BBC Robin Hood's Guy of Gisborne...but everyone knows Mark is one of the Good Guys, and certainly not in league with the evil Sheriff of Nottingham.

Name dropping some more, do you know if Joe Richardson (Graham wrestler mid 80's) is coaching wrestling anywhere?

As for any Graham team with-out a Jordan as coach/wrestler, I'd say the '89-'90 is right towards the top. State placers in Troy Henderson, Rich Randall, Jeff Abbott and Rick Glover*.
*Confident Rick still holds the record for weight loss at Graham. Thankfully they didn't hydro test back then.

Wow Class act for a coach... Name calling is the last resort when all you got is envy and spite. Do you teach your HS wrestlers at Licking Heights to name call as a come back when they lose or are challenged. Good luck coach on building a power house ! Go Licking Heights!
  • ksig489
Nope...just having fun on a thread that is intended for no seriousness whatsoever.

And it wasn't a last resort...it was first. Nothing to do with envy or spite because quite honestly, I have no idea who you are other than the guy who came on here and acted like a crazy man on a thread that ended up being more of an unintentional comedy than anything else. Best I can tell is that you are a dad who is proud of his kids (they seem to deserve it...everyone talks well about them). I was just having fun. But since you cant have fun...I will go back to where I was a few months ago, which is not knowing or caring in the slightest who you are.

Our boys had a pretty good year this year and along the way we learned that having fun is a valuable thing in life. They are also incredibly thick skinned and dont let little things get to them. You are more than welcome to stop in the room any day next year and see how we do things. Maybe you could learn something about having fun and not taking yourself and life so serious all the time.

Thank you for the wishes of luck and the cheers of encouragement. Hard working athletes always need those!

That was an excellent squad Graham put on the mat that year. Glover palced the year before and was ranked at 112. What did he do when Randall dropped from 119? Did he make it back down to 103 again? Abbott was also a returning placer who went on to win the title and help West Liberty Salem win the DIII title the next year. Randall was great all year at 119 and many thought he would win the title when he moved to 112. I don't think anyone knew how good John Noble (Lebanon) was until he beat Randall at Districts (and then went on that ridiculous run at State). Randall ended up 4th that year in a dynomite weight class. Side note, the wrestler he lost to for third was the same wrestler he beat in the first round the year before...predicted state champion, Todd Hill (Medina Highland). Finally, Troy Henderson was a beast. He dominated Sabo (Walsh) in the Medina finals that year and had only one loss heading into the State Tourney (anyone know who that loss was to?). He made the semis and lost to Jim Jones of Canfield..a loss I still don't understand how it happened. Jones was one of the biggest 135-pounders I've seen in 30 years, strong solid, but I thought Henderson was the better wrestler. He showed that by beating Tony Pariano for third, a wrestler who dominated Jones 8-4 the week before and would never lose another bout in high school.

Sorry about the rambling, that was a fine team.

Is the Henderson match the one I put on line??? I went to look for it but couldn't remember what his name was so couldn't find it. I think they have it on ohiowrestling.net as they link to gohio. Someone has it if I did upload that match.
