Definately either Spires or Vangundy. No one else is close.

It is def state, not states.

Best dressed coach has to be Coach VanGundy.

    And I love this thread!

This is my chance.....MY BIG CHANCE.........to finally air my #1 grievance in the whole wide wrestling world........

I can't frick'n STAND it when I hear some youth dad reffering to some 8 or 9 year old kid as "A HAMMER" .......(it reminds my of when someone says those little 9 year old beauty pagent girls look HOT)

    ......can I get an Amen?

I counted at least five times at the EOWL tournament that I heard the most helpful of encouragement from someone in the crowd.

Did it work?--------I'm sure it had to-----Thats the most innovative wrestling advice I've ever heard-----I doubt you could counter that-------EVER-----BRILLIANT

Another was the yells of "It's there, it's there" or "Yes! There it is" talking about, of course, the head and arm.

It can be quite an effective move, but I find it funny when it's people's bread and butter.

Amen. Your kid looks like a baby praying mantis...not a Hammer. ;)

Why isn't this in the basement?

    Mr. Moderator??

CVG takes the cake for best dressed. Jon Spires is coming on strongly, though. Pay close attention to a pick. Central assistant by the name of Copas though. He has a shot of overtaking somebody!

When is the seating meeting for the sectional tournament? (ohiowrestling.net readers will get this.)
  • Palm Pré
"Flip him" is also great advise.

To steal a line from a buddy of mine...

    "You gotta get mean, Johnny!"

No he doesn't. What he needs is the ability to build a base and get out from bottom!

Hey Cruiser, I think I may be coming out on Thursday.

I think there is one wrestler to win a sate title in three different venues. Who is he? (And if there are more, I'll have to check the records on that.)

I'll see your Amen and raise you youth dads referring to their 8 or 9 year old as "STUDS". To me that's just disturbing (not unlike your beauty pageant analogy).
