LOL>>LOL>>>I didn't think so, like my wife said losers, gossips and haters love the new coward on line thread way to do their business. Not wise, honest, or in any way good manners. Despite my huge flaws and short comings Rev. wiseowl again God Bless!

Ps both of you over there in the brown paper bags ...Come and say hi at next weeks meet and "Shake my hand" with or with out the brown paper bags on your head.....Bring some of those "amish Rakes" with you too!LOL! lets rumble..sell some tickets and make a little money on this.

Alright. I don't think that I called anybody out. But I'll go back and check. I'll introduce myself....but I don't really know who you are. Maybe I'll wear a bandana at county or something.

Falcon, "A handshake means something where I come from and are not given out meaninglessly" Likewise, I do not think I will be extending one to you ;).

Congrats to the Huskies on a nice win, I'm sure Spence will have the boys ready to wrestle by February and the WCAL tourney will be exciting as usual! The question is will Northwestern get any help from the other schools in certain weight classes to knock off the LOADED bears?
  • THE4RINGZ
Congratulations to the Huskies. Big sports Saturday in East Lattasburg.
  • Wildbear
Thanks for the results Rum! Did Matt Zepp lose to Hershey or Bockmore at 140?
  • proudguard04
Looks like the huskies have some freshman stepping up and winning some matches. I think the end of the year is going to be alot of fun.
  • 1_beast
Nice showing for Northwestern!!! They have a fine Team in that cornfield....Seasons end is going to be a slobberknocker

Of course you won't because your a coward with a brown paper bag over your head. Your name again?? Men who are afraid or ashamed of their own name because of the insults that they throw out at kids and men with faces and names probably won't be shaking any legitimate mens hands. Being a Veteran, entrepreneur and a wrestling type person its not in me to cower to bullies who hide behind masks. For this my deepest apologies to those who do not like confrontation.

If I have a bag on my head can it be green or red or blue....just can't see myself in brown.

Second I'll have to cross an introduction to the falcon off my to do list because clearly its important to him.

Third. I was @ Tuslaw Saturday for MS tourney & saw Chase first thing I did was shake his hand....seeing how that's a big deal now a days. BTW I also shook hands with the governor while I was there if anybody wants to know.

Forth. Mr. toothbrush. I have the Huskies first by 20+ and the cats (no grier) and bears tied for second. This I calculated w/o bonus points and based on a combination of the newspaper posted lineups and personal opinion. If you know more than me....please share! I'll show you my rankings 103-285 if you show me yours.

    Wild Bear,
Good Question, I don't know the answer. I got the finals results off Elyria Chronicle Telegrams website Saturday night. Does anyone out there know who beat Zepp? (Bockmore or Hershey)

and Beast, it was a soybean field last year.....its all about crop rotation.
  • THE4RINGZ
Beast can call Northwestern a "corn field" because it isn't located in a thriving metropolis like Apple Creek.
  • Red Rum
Gotta love Apple Creek--- "Where the Bars all have hitching posts and the restaurants burn themselves down"
  • THE4RINGZ
Is the Nickel still open? Last time I drove through The Creek it didn't seem like it was open on a Friday night.

I heard its an Amish bar now, and they don't believe in electricity. So the place would probably look dark. You might want to go up to the windows and look for candle light.
  • THE4RINGZ
So I can go there and drink some homemade beer and try to pick up some Amish chicks on the dance floor? Thank God it will be dark!
  • Red Rum
Darkness doesn't mask the horror of a hairy leg brushing against you.
  • nikstlitslepmur
    Hershey beat Zepp. Good match.

True, but the homemade corn liquor helps
  • WiseOwl
1_beast, can you verify the Amish girls tearing up the dance floor at the nickel? ……I knew I should have popped in there after the Waynedale/Tuslaw dual!

    Huskies by 20! Do Tell!

    First Up....
MERRY X-MAS!!!!!! tis' the season for Egg Nog and Vodka....if your 21. Get the Nog from Hartzlers Dairy...that stuff is so rich, you can get a double chin just looking at it.

    Secondly...
    R..many letters...throw ya guy...
While you were shaking the Govs hand, did you ask how large his bonus checks were from the then bankrupt Lehman Bros uninvestigated criminal debacle that cost a couple state unions and the taxpayers millions? Or ask how his running mate, Ms Lt Gov, why her husbands construction company suddenly seems to have a pile of "no bid" work, while the rest of the const. industry is slow. If anybody needs to be wearing a bag its GOV & Lt GOV!!!
On the subject of "the institution of handshakes". Its not a big deal. They really don't mean anything. Alot of folks will shake your hand and then put the screws to you, or talk crap about you afterwards. At least a refusal to shake is honest. 2010 ain't 1950.

    Thirds....
for R-many letters guy (R-Man for short).
My predictions aren't based on mathimatical formulas or science of any type. It's all gut feeling, opinion and luck...or lack of it with me. I'm probably the only guy on here with no loyalties to any area school, so it doesn't matter to me who wins.
Heres how I arrived at my predictions....WD & NWN both have full teams with 3 to 5 marquee guys depending on personal opinion. They both wrestle decent schedules which gives much needed experience to the youngsters. Waynedale seems to have luck, Northwestern, not so much. However, this could change at any time. Now try this, get your projections....add 10 to Waynedale for luck and subtract 10 from Northwestern for each of the following....1 starter gets hurt-out for season, 1 starter gets bad grades-out for semester, 1 starter gets a pimple on his arm-out for county, and the kicker...Red Rum wants the Huskies to win......He is a cursed, evil man with bad kharma.(God will give the Bears the title just to spite him) subtract 20!
Now, R-Man, factor that into your projections and what do you come up with.

    And Finally,
R-Man, it seems a little strange that you have Norwayne (without Grier) and several open weight classes tied with Waynedale (ranked top 10 D3).
The real projection nut buster is going to be all the weight class flip flopping to try and gain points. I'm just hoping for some good matchups.
Also, now that Chippewa has 2 girls wrestling, that gives the Bears more chances to illegally forfeit and get guys on the podium.....and lets not forget, there may be a weight class with only 4 wrestlers and the Huskies can manipulate the rules so only 3 place.
MAN!!!! This league is cut throat!!!!

Well now that I've p***ed off both NWN & WD.....Happy Holidays and go DALTON, while the old boys fight....slide in and eat their lunch. DHS Bulldogs 2010 WCAL wrestling Champs.
  • rtherthrwyathnknwya
Shaking hands with the gov is an expression like "I've got to see a man about a horse" or "nature is calling." Save the politics for another forum.

Projections are just that as you mentioned. I am very hesitant to post my math because I understand exactly what you mentioned. Shortly "life happens." Being a state ranked team has no impact on your performance in league. I wonder if Monroeville would have beaten WD if slipped into our league in the past 2 or 3 years? League is a #'s game. A state champ=a sectional chump. State champs get second and sectional qualifiers are champs. There is always stratergery, only if there's wiggle room, but you have to have the horses. Remember it all comes down to top 4. Who can get the most in the top 4 (or 3 if you cheat.)

I was shocked that Norwayne projects tied too, but that's what my abacus says so I'm running with it.

Wise owl I would love to meet you @ the nickel, tip a few of the creek's finest vintage and go over numeric algorithms and newspaper clippings. If you're looking for more specifics you'll have to wait till Feb. Consder it a valentines gift from me.
