As a baseball guy and a StatCast fan I want to know the speed at which Garret hit Rudolph and was it with more force than any of Rudolph’s 8 tackles

I would say 3 games for Garret (after all he hit him with the padded end of the helmet); 2 games for Pouncey (punching is ok, but kicking is out); and 2 games for Rudolph (for instigating and a kick to the nuts). That way they all three miss the rematch in Pittsburgh in two weeks, and all without pay. It’s a rough sport, let’s not go completely overboard, we have pussified enough of everything else.

I don’t remember what I was trying to type but it was not “buff”

I meant buff like this:
A buff is someone who has a strong, special interest in something. For example, someone who loves jazz music is a jazz buff. Someone who is deeply interested in the American Civil War is a Civil War buff.
Like YOU are a sport buff.

Totally agree, unfortunately. But.....it happened and posters who don't post much wanted to post. So that's a good thing.
BTW, I'm a stat buff.

It’s the only thing on twitter and FB too, whole Sportscenter. The overreaction to everything sucks and this one is bad. Everyone has their opinion but Jesus there are dumb ducks out there that believe Rudolph deserved it and there are other dumb fucks that believe Rudolph did nothing and people showing receivers swinging punches with their helmet on saying it’s the same.
It looked bad and it was bad and everyone except Rudolph and NFL has handled it very well once the smoke cleared.

My biggest beef is that Rudolph's skating by and most Steeler "fans" on social media (I'm sure not any of you Steeler guys on here, as you seem sensible) crying about how the Browns are "dirty." Apparently they have selective memory over the Browns punter getting cleated by AB, Harrison knocking out 3 Browns players with helmet to helmets (ending one's career),a morbidly obese QB hitting one of the Browns DL in the nuts (not Rudolph, separate incident) and a HC who tried to trip an opposing player on a return.
No doubt the Browns were head hunting. I’m not crying about it. They’ve been getting beat on for decades. I like seeing some spice back in the “rivalry.”

I’ve not seen a single thing about Browns being dirty....I see a lot of the Rudolph got what he deserved and pics of how he started it.
I don’t see reason to defend anyone in this really. It’s completely dwarfed a nice win and game by the Browns (which irritates me)
These are mostly all dumb but I thought this one was funny.

We're on different Facebook's then. LOL..Ton of Burgh fans saying he, and the Browns, are dirty. As far as Rudolph "deserving it", those are the dolts who should be denied breeding privileges. Nobody deserves getting clocked in the head with an object like that.
As you said, put a shadow over a good, and long overdue, win by the Browns. I hope they rebound in time for the Dolphins because it's been reported that the locker room was like a morgue after that "victory." Hope they shake it off as Miami's playing some improved football the last 3 weeks.

I think the Browns are in a pretty good place mentally. Some of their big name guys get down too much when things go bad and a little too excited when things are good. But I think they are trending nicely in the right direction for this portion of their schedule.
OMG, I just watched SNL’s opening skit.
A must watch if you didn’t catch it.
Spoiler alert: Kenan Thompson as Myles.

I forgot about the rapist doing this, good call. Any Steelers fan crying about this needs to GTFO. Considering the league history, I also find it bullshit the suspension is indefinite. It should have been 4 games max. The media has made this worse than it is.

Garrett is appealing this. Wonder if it has anything to do with the actual rule in the NFL rulebook that says :
Rule 12 in the rulebook covers “player conduct” and all the way down to Article 17, there it is: “Use of helmet as a weapon.”
“A player may not use a helmet that is no longer worn by anyone as a weapon to strike, swing at, or throw at an opponent,” it reads. And the penalty?
For illegal use of a helmet as a weapon: Loss of 15 yards and automatic disqualification. If the foul is by the defense, it is also an automatic first down.
Doubt he'll get much love from Goodell as he seems to make up the rules as he goes along.
It sounds like there may be language in the CBA that indefinite suspension can only be used for off the field incidents.

Yeah, with this new info and the fact that they are appealing and the NFL will give their decision by Weds, I could see this being reduced to 4 games. Once the dust settles, and the fake outrage dies down, I think they will all get reduced suspensions.
Oh, and f#ck the bitch ass p#ssy Haslam's. I may have mentioned this earlier but they sent an apology to the Steelers and Rudolph for Garrett's behavior. Caller on 92.3 brought up a good point, unless I missed something, "Saint" Rooney never sent any apologies when Harrison was doing his best to make Colt McCoy, Josh Cribbs & MoMass vegetables. P#ssy ass kowtow suck up behavior.
