Big game for 1/3 of the 20 people on this board. Browns have been a disappointment but the win over Buffalo has them pumped like the losing streak never happened. I feel the Browns are built to defeat the teams in this division (we’ll find out when they face Baltimore again as they look unbeatable)

Browns big advantage in running game and Kareem Hunt back with a week under his belt. Pittsburgh has had some issues with stopping the running game but have nicely improved. Pittsburgh with back up QB and 3rd string RB but Conner is said to be returning. Tuitt our for the year is a big loss but Steelers defense has been big on takeaways. Fitzpatrick and TJ Watt have been All Pro worthy and defense is fast to the ball. Haden held Cooper Kupp without a catch last week.

Browns a good bet:

If they keep their excellent running attack going and keep Baker with quick and high % throws but at least one deep ball over aggressive defensive backfield....keep turnover differential within 1

Steelers a good bet:

If they can get good pressure on BM and young Steelers receivers make plays (they have improved slowly)

All in all....I think it comes down to which team pressures the QB better. Rams gave Rudolph hardly any time....but Watt and Heyward wore out Goff and Dbacks made plays.

Steelers win, because Freddie will do everything to favor the Steelers. Congrats on the win and upcoming playoff appearance, ironman.

Fully expect a Steelers win and Connor will run all over them.

Browns favored by 3 in Vegas

Im leaning towards one team pulling away in the 2nd half for a 10-17 point margin

I'd say the big keys are: For Pittsburgh, not having big, disastrous mistakes like turnovers returned for scores or giving up huge plays at bad times. And for Cleveland, being intelligent and efficient on offense, as they've had turnover problems this year and, if there is one thing the Steelers have been consistently good at, it's forcing turnovers.

Talent-wise, Cleveland is a better team and they are at home, but Pittsburgh's a couple games up on them in the standings because they've gradually gotten better (after a slow start) at not making big fuck-ups and forcing the other team to make mistakes.

Browns win!! I have no scientific reasoning just a general disdain for the opposition.
GO BROWNS

Big game for 1/3 of the 20 people on this board.

So I did some counting of Browns posters......because I’m retired and have time to do things like that.....and found 13 active posters (and 14 if you want to count Dolphin fan j_crazy rooting for the Browns this year). Add in the two Steeler fans and we have 15 posters.

So if we have 15 posters and that is one third of all posters....then there are actually 45 active posters on this site, not 20. 😁

Go Browns!

With some hesitation I would say Browns by 3. My concern is the lack of smart plays in the Red Zone

Kick the field goal Freddie !! But he made it very clear in the post interview that they are are running the ball when they are down there. It's going to be a cold night in Cleveland. On the other hand Pittsburgh is playing well lately  So at this point which  Browns  team  will show up  .

Browns will need to play mistake free and limit penalties because the Steelers rarely beat themselves, no matter who they have on the field.

Surprised this wasn't posted but the Browns released WR Antonio Callaway this afternoon. Sounds like he's facing a 10 game suspension.

Steelers typical great start offensively.

It’s ok to try before you get behind by 10

Well there’s the easy deep ball. Steelers weakness defensively.

Had Baker in trouble but his ability to get free saved their first drive

I really hate these night games.

Go Browns.

Oh....it was stunning to me to see the graphic that the Browns have had 16 head coaches since 1969, while the Steeler’s have had 3, whom all of us could name.
