OSU trailed Michigan by 20 in the first half tonight but rallied to win 71-62.
They've already beaten Wisconsin 83-58 at Wisconsin.
Chris Holtman starts B1G play 2-0!

Young team and a little inconsistant but for the most part they are playing a lot harder than they did last season.

Who knows what they will be by the end of the year, but those are 2 really good wins. Especially last night after being down so much in the 1st half.
That was a great comeback last night. It took a while, but they did eventually get concepts such as "don't give them non-stop open three-pointers" and "run an actual offense" and when they did, they looked really good.
Holtmann seems like he’ll be a keeper
Michigan is a quality win. I don't know what is up with Wisconsin right now. Maybe they finally aren't a pencil for top 4 in the B1G, but until they fall short, that is a solid win as well. Just not sure it will end up there.
I like Michigan though.
Good news: They crushed whatever no-name they played today. Bad news: Young out with ankle injury. Don't have a clue as to severity, but with Potter out for year, him being gone for any length of time will hurt them a lot depth-wise. Especially sucks since after Potter went down, he got more time and was making some good contributions off the bench -- the sort of thing I don't want to see getting stalled by injury.
Good win at Iowa tonight for the Buckeyes. Five guys in double figures for OSU.

I was pretty excited about that win until I saw that Iowa is 9-8 and 0-4 in the B1G.
MSU will be a tough test. Maryland might be a little more realistic. Then Rutgers, northwestern, Minn, Nebraska and PSU. That seems like a pretty easy stretch to me.

Last year's team would've lost that game...I really like what Holtman's doing, and the kids seem to be buying into it..they're fun to watch

Yeah, Iowa could be the worst team in the B1G this year. At least at this point in time.
Big Ten is as bad as I think I've ever seen it. Just brutal basketball being played on over half the campuses.

Yeah, it's kind of amazing that an Ohio State team that got trashed by Gonzaga and over-matched in the second half by a weaker-than-usual UNC team, as well as good-but-not-great squads like Clemson and Butler looks like one of the top teams in the conference other than MSU and Purdue. I saw yesterday that in his way-too-early Bracketology, Lunardi only had 4 B1G teams in the tournament (MSU - 1, Purdue - 3, Michigan - 9 and Maryland in the play-in round, with Minnesota and OSU in the "first four out". And since then, Maryland got crushed by MSU and Lynch supposedly is suspended by Minnesota.
Strange year. A couple really good teams and then a huge mass of mediocrity where anyone could wind up looking good. Main thing I like about the Buckeyes this season is that they haven't had the inexplicable losses to really bad teams that plagued them the last couple seasons. As long as they finish pretty high (no worse than 5th or maybe 6th) in the conference, the lack of bad losses might be the main factor getting them into the tournament.

I agree with that. Really, the team from the last couple years would have lost it. The best thing about last night was that they jumped out to a big lead and throughout the second half, Iowa made run after run, but they kept their composure every time and never let them get the momentum. Very refreshing to see after the last two years and, really, even the early parts of this year -- in particular Butler and Clemson.

I didn't mean to downplay the win. But when i saw they won at Iowa i started to think "We are BACK baby!" but after seeing Iowa's record I'm pumping the brakes a little 😀
OSU is looking good against MSU. If they can somehow hold onto this 20 point lead I'll be pretty impressed!
That was a beat down.
Great win!
Total domination from about the 12 min mark on. Hell of a win.
Wow.
Great win for the Buckeyes. KBD was absurd.
Good win. They took control and never let off the gas.
Damn that was fun to watch. Thought they'd hang in there the first half then fade, but they took it to Sparty. Bates-Diop is a beast. Was nice to see the rest of the team play with confidence and no fear as well. Chris Holtmann is the man.
Another impresssive win tonight vs. MD.
3 game stretch for KBD
27 and 13, 32 and 8, 26 and 8.
I thought they might have a let down after MSU and they started a little slow for a second but then they looked good.
Now i think we have a 3 game stretch on the road to see how they handle that.

With Rutgers starting it out and seeming to be at least a bit tougher than they have been. Maybe not an actual good team, but it'll be a decent road test. Besides we gotta get revenge for that "out with a whimper" game last year in the B1G tournament. That was flat-out sad.
