OSU is currently in the second seed for the B1G tournament. Purdue is 3rd and Penn State is tied with Indiana for 6th. (Penn State plays Michigan and then @Nebraska. Indiana plays @Nebraska and then OSU) I think I'm really hoping Purdue gets Penn State in the first game and then OSU can play the winner in the second. Although at the moment in not confidant they can beat either team.

They are a fun team to watch. No selfishness, evertbody chips in and shares the ball. So much improvement from the dysfunction of the last few years.

Blame it on the dumb B1G thinking Friday night games are a good thing.

That was horseshit lol. Still pretty pleased with Indiana’s improvement this season, especially with the injuries. Maybe they can make a run to the semis and with some luck the title game of the B1G. But likely gonna crash out cause I have my hopes up.

Jim Delany's a moronic piece of shit with his ideas on pimping out a midwest-centric league to the east coast, forcing them to have the conference tournament a week early because as far as MSG goes, they're a distant afterthought after the Big East, and, as a result, making it necessary to have regular season games on any day of the week, including Fridays and Mondays, which hadn't been Big 10 game nights in the past.

Same genius-level thinking that causing him to invite in a MAC-level school athletics-wise (Rutgers) simply because they're near NYC in order to get a foothold there. Because if there's one thing New Yorkers are passionate about, it's Rutgers, their .150 winning percentage in sports and their regular scandals.

Yeah, I lived out there and worked for Rutgers...NYC people didn't give a fuck lol they just had a decent amount of alumni there so taht's why they said it's "NYC's college team". (What they didn't realize is alumni are going to be fans of the team no matter where they live lol)

The way Rutgers would put "NYC's college team" on every corner block of the city reminded me when you'd go to a diner and the menu would say "America's greatest cheeseburger" Like uhh just because you put that on your menu doesn't mean this tiny diner in Princeton, NJ has the greatest burger in the world.

For us, yes.

I'd rather be the 3 seed and play the winner of Indiana - Rutgers / Minnesota

Holtmann has done a terrific job. He comes into a situation very late and has to gel with the players from the previous coach and that wasn't easy. I know he doesn't seem like he likes to talk about himself but he is high quality as well and that shows with the players.

I suppose a really key element will be the health of Mike Watkins, since he missed the final game with Nebraska and they never were all that competitive in it without him.

All of this. Hell of a turnaround.

Was there any particular reason the B1G is having the tournament a week early this year?

Edit: nevermind. They decided they would rather play at MSG a week early rather than having the tournament at the same time as the other big boy leagues.
