Disagree.  I saw no "2 hand shove."  And I am not a Duke fan.

I didn't see 2 hands either, but it was a powerful left hand shove.

If I was in counseling (prolly wouldn’t hurt) my counselor would’ve been proud of me. I became enraged and put on shoes and took my dog on a 40 min walk. Got back, figured it wasn’t over. Cleaned up kitchen a bit from dinner, let dog out back and went to check the score....figuring it was over but knowing stuff probably happened and it wasn’t....it was 74-73 UCF with ball and 1:09 left. Went into garage and played a little competition game with 4 darts and a dartboard....won my little challenging game 10-7 and went to check phone and as ESPN was loading my wife called (I knew that meant they somehow won)

Im an admitted nut job but time missing the win (would’ve killed me and ruined my family's evening)....I got exercise, my dog did too and family wasn’t pissed at me so it was the right decision based on my craziness.

🤷🏻‍♂️

UCF should be proud as hell. I admire how they just took it to them. Glad Duke prevailed.

My man, it’s just sports. You are way to old to care that much lol.

I saw nothing that warranted a foul, based on the angle they showed on replay.  Would love to watch video clips that may suggest otherwise.

I’m not like that for the Reds, OSU football, NBA....but it is what it is.

Good showing by OSU. Houston is tough.

OSU is very well coached to say the least.

I used to get super upset over all my teams. Hell, even games I didn’t have a dog in the fight I’d get mad when team I picked lost (in a bracket setting). I’d even get mad when my rivals won. Lasted through early 20s. It would ruin a weekend.

Now, I’ll get upset over Indiana basketball, but most it will last is an hour or 2. If they lost on a heartbreak game to end their season, it would easily last the night. I don’t get upset after the final whistle for any other team though.

I’ve never understood why people don’t watch though. My uncle does the same with UNC. Can’t enjoy anything because he never sees it actually happen.

Kelvin Sampson is a great coach. Why the fuck did he have to love texting so damn much? Ugh.

If I continue watching I typically settle down but am not happy and I could just feel it happening. The loss would’ve been bad but the social media and sports the next two days...I hate it. The staying and watching...the satisfaction and thrill wouldn’t have been anything as they were expected to win. In past years I’d leave as to jinx but today it was just pissed off and didn’t want to watch it unfold.

I see the arm hook, but I see no shove.

From the overhead shot, watch the left forearm in the back, where the UCF players feet were(right on the restricted line, having been pushed toward the basket a bit already.  When the ball gets ready to come off, watch where the head of the UCF player goes(directly toward the hoop, underneath it and quite a bit on the other side of the hoop.  He did not jump that direction, he was jumping straight up to where the ball was, but that shove displaced him by on the order of 6 feet!

Welp, Sweet 16 is set

Hioefully mostly good games

If they seeded on the past month, Oregon shouldn't have been a #12 seed.

My bracket rewards upsets, so it's not a great indicator....but A LOT of people had Oregon over UC Irvine in R2.  Only 1/45 had Oregon in the Elite 8, though.  I think they may spank UVA.

This is the beauty of fewer upsets; the next 2 rounds should be dynamic. Love when we get the top schools and brands playing for the Final Four berth.

6 feet?  lol.  There is contact, yes, but I just can't be convinced that it was worthy of a foul call.  I think I've settled on that side.

Now... Zion with an offensive foul at FT line area on the drive, or the hook on the FT.  You can convince me there.

With the exception of Oregon (who totally belongs in the Sweet 16), it's all top seeds.  OK, technically Auburn was a #5 seed, but not sure I can remember a year this chalk.

First since 2009 I think I read where the top 12 (1-3 seeds) all made it to the second weekend. That seems crazy to me, but when you stop and think about it, makes sense. Honestly, Auburn and Kansas should've been flipped on the seed line once Vick left and Azubuike was ruled out for the year.

Oregon is the only team who doesnt belong. But we can thank Kansas State for that.

It does make sense.  Although, to be fair.....Duke should have lost.  UT should have been a footnote of a historic meltdown. And Maryland almost took out LSU.

So that would make it look more like a typical year, but then every year has near-misses....and there were no other near misses.

Barrett with the 2 hand shove in the back to get that “offensive rebound” on the FT. Trash officiating. Right after Zion plowed through this defender.

this...remember 'Jordan Rules'? Coach K Rules...and it sucks for their opponents

Sweet 16 Matchups.....best? Most likely to be a blowout?

I will guess that one of the FSU/LSU/Texas Tech goes ice cold and gets beat pretty handily.

I’ll guess Michigan thrashes Texas Tech if you had to pick one but could see all 8 games being right and really could see about every team winning.

Texas Tech is the best defensive team in the country. Unlikely they get blown out by anyone. But I do think they lose.

I’ll go:

  • Virginia and Gonzaga handily. 8-14 but never in doubt
  • UNC - Auburn into the 90s, and incredibly pleasing to watch. But UNC by 7 after blowing a 13 point lead under to go
  • Michigan and TT in a low scoring slugfest. Michigan prevails
  • Houston and Kentucky will be decided on last shot of game. I’ll go Houston in the best game of the tournament this far
  • Virginia Tech pulls the upset with Justin Robinson
  • Michigan State steadily breaks down an undisciplined LSU in the 2nd half. Win by 8.
  • Tennessee scores to much and Edwards has a bad night shooting for Purdue to win, butbthey keep hanging around when it looks like it’s over. 68-63

I've seen every angle.  I am telling you that my opinion is that it did not warrant a foul call.  Your opinion is that it did.  This is based on any angle you want to look at.  I'm not really arguing, as I've made up my mind, and you have made up yours.  I think it will all be OK.

Bottom line...if either one of the UCF players actually boxes out, they win.
