Fletcher MaGee has single-handedly lost this game for Wofford. Keeps chucking up fall away 3s. Meanwhile his teammates are killing it.

Terrible defensive foul call on Wofford with 16 sec left.  Ky makes two FT to put them up 4, instead of a Wofford rebound and a chance to win it with a trey, or tie with two.

I fully expected that heave at the buzzer to go in.

What hasn't happened in a few games? All I said was it's a favorable matchup for OSU

I was talking about OSU going on long scoring droughts. They have avoided them recently, but this could be a game where it comes back.

Which is exactly why I said they’d lose to a team that scores a ton of points. Can’t afford to go on those long scoring draughts when the other team scores 80/game. But when the other team struggles to score too, you can probably get away with it.

The LSU clock management at the end of the 2nd half, getting the 2 for 1, was excellent as compared to just the opposite in letting Md get the 2 for 1 in the first half on two treys by Wiggins in the last minute to put up the last 6 points of the half for Md.

Am I correct that in the last minutes of the 2nd half they stop the clock when a made FG goes thru the net, but do not stop the clock in the first half?  By not doing it in the first half they create a loop hole for a perfectly managed shot at about 40 sec that goes thru the hoop and the other teams fools around with the ball long enough to get the game clock down around 30 sec so that when they do throw the ball in bounds, there won't be enough time for there to be a 2 for 1 for the team that executed perfectly!  Need to make both halves end the same way on clock timing.

One of the games after this one, I saw a team score a first half FG and the game clock showed 42 sec.  Then the other team took their time with the clock running and then rolled the ball in.  By the time it was touched there were 32 secs on the game clock and 30 sec on the shot clock.  This allowed them to run the clock down enough the other team wasn't able to get another shot off.

Oh man I love that. I’ve been an advocate of this forever. Heck, I’ve said teams should just set the ball inbounds and not even roll it. Waste as much time as needed to get it under the shot clock (unless a 2-for-1 chance, then get that).

After 1.5 rounds, where do you guys rank this performance, historically, for the B1G so far?  It's been a tour de force.

By that I mean performance as a conference overall vs. other conferences in past tourneys.

Auburn - North Carolina should be quite fun.

Meh, by the end of tomorrow, barring an upset with Iowa/Ohio State, you only have 3 teams in the S16. The 2 teams everyone knew were great all year and Purdue with Edwards finally able to hit something beyond a layup.

ACC has 3 1 seeds, VT and FSU. SEC has Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn and LSU.

Now, if Iowa beats Tennessee and/or Ohio State gets by Houston, then I think you can start claiming it as a great tournament for the conference as a whole. As it stands now? Sounds like a bunch of people who are clamoring for appreciation for a conference whose last national title was MSU in 2000.

Not too surprising, but Tennessee is stomping Iowa. Just completely over matched.

So LSU/Maryland and auburn/NMSU

Then a bunch of shitty, boring games. This tourney has sucked so far.

Been very very meh...games are mostly never in doubt once they are about 1/3 of the way into their game.

As a casual fan that generally pulls for ACC and Big 10.....the SEC is scaring me.
