1st Team All-PWN

So, now that their losing streak is at 25 games, I guess it's time to have a fun discussion about the Detroit Pistons.

Namely:

1. Will they ever win another game? If so, who will be the utterly humiliated victim? I thought Utah, playing without half their team, would be as good a chance as they have, but they lost that one.

2. When the season is over, where will they rank as far as Worst Pro Sports Teams Of All Time? Looks like in 2011-12, Charlotte was 7-59 in a lockout shortened year. Detroit would have to pick up the pace to hit that win percentage!

Have you seen that lineup?! Wow!!!

A team with Lebron on it isn’t happy with the head coach. How shocking.

You know, it gets nauseating cause its so often. But he also hasn't been incorrect yet.

I would argue Vogel, but that guys defensive intensity and mindset doesn't really last in the NBA more than a few seasons before grown men tune you out.

And it could easily becoming less and less time of going with coaches like that.

141-136 baby! Everyone has teh statz and nobody has to play hard on defense much.

The Ham stuff seems premature. They were the hottest team in the league the second half of last season before losing to the eventual champs. They just won the in-season tournament last month which players seemed to care about. Now they’re on a rough stretch and there’s disconnect which has always been code for Lebron and his team want someone else. And to no surprise it’s also right before the trade deadline so half these guys better watch their backs.

I am curious to who the replacement would be.

Coach Bud would be great for that team, actually.

Ham can’t figure out a fucking rotation to save his life. He's pretty bad X and O guy. It does seem premature, but I do think it’s clear — at this stage at least — that Ham cannot make this roster work. They were hot last year because it was PnR with 3 guys, LeBron, AD, and Reeves. But now they have guys who aren’t just spot up shooters and he doesn’t know what to do.

Golden State lead Denver 123-105 with six minutes left. Denver goes on a 22-4 run to tie it up with a few seconds left. Jokic banks in a three from inside half court to win. What a choke job by Golden State.

Top of my head:

James Jones - Pacers / Cavs

Bill Lambieer - Pistons / Cavs

Birdman - Nuggets / Cavs

AI - Sixers / Nuggets

Derrick McKey - Sixers / Pacers

Aaron McKie - Sixers / Pistons

Dr. J - Sixers Assists

Zeke - Pistons Assists

I am not 100% on Aaron McKie. I am pretty sure he played on Pistons early in career though.

I struggle with NBA and the most common answers are usually not too common of names.

The 95% ticked me off though lol….it was only 37% success rate for that category

Well that’s the only one people will know. Most don’t remember Tim Hardaway retired a Pacer after a year. And I really can’t think of anyone else but those 2…?

Unlike the baseball grid the basketball and football ones aren’t as detailed on the answers. They don’t show the 5 answers from the pacers they just show the list of 71 players with 5000 assists

Memphis coach is crazy mad. Running out on the floor while hall is live

LeBron beat the Memphis player to the floor and ball and scrambling on floor….Memphis player had LeBron’s arm locked and holding him, LeBron used that arm and shoved him off, glared off his chin. It was nothing. Coach went ape shit

Meh, Ja now out the rest of the year after surgery. I have trouble getting into the regular season since it's 82 games that end with 2/3 of the teams doing some sort of postseason, but I was a bit interested in him/Memphis due to (a) can he make it multiple months without fucking up? and (b) can he drag Memphis from way out of the playoffs to in them? They were 6-3 with him, so keeping that up for the rest of the year would make (b) a possibility if (a) happened. But we'll never know now.

Gee it only took 900 technical fouls for them to try this strategy. I like Kerr but the way he sticks his head in the sand with Draymond’s behavior is embarrassing.

Last post about T-Mac (maybe). This man has changed the way coaches coach! Like I said, cannot tell the story of the NBA without him!

Well, I guess with Ja being out for the rest of the year, I can use "how long until Dray implodes and fucks up again?" as a means to stay interested in the regular season.

Channel your interest into the Spurs - Pistons game tonight. A combined 8 wins between them so far this season.

And a murdering. That last Detroit win is looking more like an insane fluke every day.
