Lou Brock led for a few years in the '70s.  I don't recall him having too many HRs.

Obviously, it's not Rickey.  I believe he holds the record for the most career game lead-off HRs.

Juan Pierre had less than 25 career HR. But not sure he was ever the active leader?

Juan was the active leader with over 600 and only 18 career HR
