Yeah, I was a strong advocate for Edgar in the HOF on the back of his OBP. He is 4th all time for Right-handed batters (22nd all time). Those in front are Hornsby/Foxx/Thomas. Trout also, but career not over. The guy made less outs than anyone from that side of the plate, almost ever.
Of 21 ahead of him: 14 in the HOF; 2 Votto/Trout not eligible yet; 1 Bonds steroids; 1 Shoeless Joe banned; and then 3, Joyce, Fain, Bishop are from forever ago. So, basically, if you make that few outs in a career, you’re a HOFer.

Mixed in the Mariners front office keeping him in the minors for 2-3 extra years cost him a lot of the old school counting stats

True. His per 162 probably doesn’t go up much, but he comes around 2,700 hits and 400 home runs with 3 more full seasons.
Question #82:
These three franchises are the only ones since 1950 (when the Red Sox did it) to feature 8+ players in a single season to have 100+ at-bats and still post .300+ averages. Don't need to name the year. Just the franchise.
Seems like something the fucking Cardinals would've done.

82 Brewers
95 Indians
1985 Cardinals
I have 2 good questions I’ve been researching when the previous gets answered.
Red Sox, Phillies, Brewers

I like that Red Sox guess
I was definitely going to say the Indians, that 94-97 team was insane.
I meant to guess Red Sox, Phillies, Rockies

Rockies with the thin air is a good guess too.

Indians was one. It was indeed the '95 team. '97 team came close, too, with seven.

The Red Sox did it in '97, despite finishing with a losing record.

Great call with the Rockies. They actually had TEN guys do it in 2000. Ten guys with 100+ at-bats and a BA over .300 is absurd. Only finished 82-80, though. Missed the playoffs.
Crazy as though it may seem, the Indians were the only one to make the playoffs the year they did it.

LOL Went to the kitchen to grab lunch and ended up playing kitchen with my toddler.
Question #83
6 HOFers have played in 155+ games in a season 9 or more times (regular season games)
Name them
Interesting question.
I don't think a season had 155+ games when Gehrig played, but I know it did when Ripken broke the record, so I guarantee he's on there.
Fuck it.
Eddie Murray.
Winfield?

Am I correct in assuming this doesn't include post season?

Yes, regular season only
Jeter?
I think I remember seeing Bagwell having a lot of seasons with 150+ games.
