Just looked him up. 92 years old.

He was 100 lbs overweight for 40 years

That doesn’t usually spell living to be 92

In 1987 this HOFer was runner up for the AL MVP....he smoked the winner in WAR by more than 3. Hit .343, 205 hits, 105 RBI.....all career highs and was 21 for 23 in SB

Probably should’ve won the MVP and maybe would’ve gotten him into the HOF a bit quicker.
