Unless they have the coaches directly tied to this stuff, or someone at the school. On the books, etc they have nothing. Just players being paid by agents. No proof the school was ordering it (they were) or that the coaches and schools even knew (they did).

This is one of those things that everyone knew was happening but never thought it’d actually get investigated. The NCAA isn’t going to ban all their top schools from participating in tournaments, so my guess is what laley said: they don’t have enough to tie the schools and coaches directly to this, and they just fine the shit out of them (more money for the NCAA).

The current model of the one and done is not sustainable. If all of these violations get punished, but they don’t change the rules, the same thing will happen again and again.
Pay at college players a fair market wage and this all goes away.

Couple that with $30 million state cuts that Bevin just signed and a lot of people will be losing their jobs at UL. Bet they won’t be the the athletic department.
Thats really the whole problem. Coaches and players breaking NCAA rules are costing these universities millions of dollars. If the money wasn’t so ridiculous this wouldn’t be the mess it is
