They will almost assuredly play. Bills have the noon game Thanksgiving day

League hates the Browns. Supposedly game has been moved to Detroit. Who do the Bills play on Thanksgiving Day? Shocker, Detroit.

The league hates the Browns because their away game is being played in Detroit instead of Buffalo, in front of their home fans? Where should it have been played?

Yeah, weird take. I’d be happy about it.

Why does the league hate the Browns?  Because of Watson?  Doubt it.

What is a closer location?

Probably in the minority here but the weather conditions, with the Browns running game, give them an advantage in Buffalo. Sending the game to Detroit ensures a Buffalo boat race. Browns have a punchers chance in shitty conditions.

Agreed with this. Jets fans are also not a fan of the game being moved to Detroit.

And that's why I said the league hates the Browns.

As a Jets fan, I wouldn't be happy if I were you either. Not only are they giving them an advantage but they're putting them in a city where they are playing, four days later, and won't even need to go back to Buffalo. Wonder if the league's footing the bill for their hotel rooms too?

Moving this game out of poor weather conditions takes away any, as little as it is, advantage the Browns may have had. It may have made the Bills one dimensional. Granted, the Browns aren't good at stopping the run but the Bills aren't exactly good at running the ball. Potentially taking away Allen's arm evens the playing field a bit.

I actually had some interest in watching this, thinking the Browns might be able to steal one. Not now.

The Bills lose out on a home game and have to go play a neutral spot against a franchise with a respectable fan base that will travel. That doesn’t exactly seem favorable to them.

Bills aren’t exactly looking indestructible right now so it’s not impossible for Cleveland to steal this one.

Browns had a better shot in weather. But come TF on with this game being moved as a reason the league hates the Browns.

Do you know how weather works?

I'm not sure why people think the league hates the Browns. They aren't an elite franchise nor a disaster, they're one of twenty or so middle of the pack franchises.

I will say this, Goodell definitely had an unfair stance on Josh Gordon when it came to his time with the Browns versus others with same issues and then when Gordon went to other franchises.

And they DEF hated the Watson contract.

Perhaps, but using the Watson contract as an example, would they have hated it less if it was team X or team Y?

The NFL is successful if all their teams succeed. It makes zero sense for “them” to take a dislike to a particular franchise and actively work to hurt it.

No. But that isn't 100% linear, as no other team did it. So they can hate the Browns specifically for doing it. Like, the NFL I am sure hates all this Snyder stuff leaking. Would they hate it as much for another owner, yes. But it wasn't another owner, so they can only hate Snyder and the Commanders.

I am still very bitter about Gordon having insane qualifications to come back and play. But then he goes to NE and is eligible right away. Same with KC.

Going off the last couple decades, I'd say the most hatred for Cleveland has come from the team's own ownership and management.

I think every franchise’s fanbase thinks the league and media hates them.

Bingo.  I’m a huge Buckeye fan.  All my life I’ve heard how officials and the media hate Ohio State.  Then i lived in different parts of the country and - shockingly - heard the same story EVERYWHERE else.

I think….I think, Buffalo would rather have been at home in Buffalo

I’m not sure they’ve ever practiced together before from what it looks.

That ain’t Josh Allen. He’s not even remotely close on any passes. Even if elbow was bad he just be in pain, not missing like he’s a high school QB being inserted in to throw passes.

Browns fans….I’m with you here. Browns have waisted a couple opportunities but Bills look like the worst offense in the league. When will his crazy misses turn into “OMG Josh Allen is so unbelievable” I’ll guess as soon as they realize Diggs is on their team.

This is silly.

Another typical Browns Sunday.  I was sitting in a restaurant watching and I thought “The people in this restaurant care more about the outcome of this game than the team does.”  Maybe that’s an exaggeration…but maybe not.

Garbage ass team. Total waste of a season. Not a single team in this division looks good right now.

Stefanski will die on the sword with his loyalty to Joe Woods.

I'm sure the media will spin Myles Garrett sitting on the bench, after the game, while everyone else was at mid-field shaking hands, as "he's so unhappy! He wants to be traded!" in the coming days. So I'm sure we'll have THAT to look forward to.

Interesting questioned posed on the OBR: At what point did the Browns season start spiraling out of control?

My two guesses would be the shell shock loss to the Jets. Haven't been able to close since.

Or...

When the Watson suspension went from 6 games to 11.

It was the moment the Haslams didn’t sell the team - so every single day for the last 10 years.
