Not throwing a flag on that is damn near blatantly cheating by the refs. One of the most obvious leading with the crown of the helmet I have ever seen.
During half time Browns should de-emphasize the arm tackling/diving at ankles approach to defense.
This hasnāt gone great. But leading w the crown of the helmet not being reviewable is ridiculous. Baker has played fine, so many drops and the dumbass fumble into end zone touch back rule. Ugh. Defense also not doing any favors so far.
Browns need to embrace the Belichick rule against reaching the ball out toward the goal line unless it is 4th down.

This. It was unnecessary to do that.
Stefanski shows his rookieness. Punt was a bad idea when defense has been bad. Cāmon man. The defense canāt stop a 35 year old qb. Fuck
I feel like we got cheated, but at least we didnāt get blown out when down 19-3.
Henne did a good job, except for his āarm puntā. But, like iclfan2 said, we canāt stop a 35 year old sub? Fuck
Pretty good season, showed lots of improvements.
Mayfield is better without OBJ ( so is the team), trade him......hopefully for a tackler or two.
Stefanski will get better with time.
Not a Browns fan but I thought they played a hell of a game and had a great season. They overcame a lot of injury and obstacles. They are on the right track and have a coach that can lead them there. This is a season they can definitely build on just need to add a piece or two on defense and they could be playing in the Super Bowl next year.
Picks in Rounds 1 and 2 better both be on the defensive side if the ball....
Draft needs to focus on defense
Room for improvement but good season overall.
Stefanski seems to have a pretty good handle on things
NOT a laughing stock, dumpster fire anymore!!
GO BROWNS!!

Agreed. We got a lot to build on, and Iām not mad about it. Great season

Agreed but that rule is outdated. It's bullshit that a team can drive 90 yards, fumble out of the back of the end zone and the ball is rewarded to the defense, as if to assume they'd recover the fumble. Ball should be given back to the offense and brought out to the 20, or something.
As far as the hit on Higgins goes, that was blatant. Sorensen's arms were tucked to his sides and he lead with his helmet like two rams fighting. Adding insult to injury, the classless Chiefs organization has a video on their webpage congratulating "Dirty Dan" (Sorensen) for the hit. Same thing happens in the Saints/Bucs game and it gets called.
No excuses for the Browns though. They should've been able to run the ball and I can honestly say it was the first time I was disappointed in the O-Line this year. Should've been able to impose their will on that defense.
I won't even comment on the Browns defense....it just sucks. I was expecting them to surrender a lot of points but also score a lot. Henne scrambling for 14 was unforgiveable.

TBH, they are pretty set on offense. They should have Drew Forbes returning as a backup/swingman O-Lineman. I might burn a pick on a WR with a later pick. I'd gladly move on from OBJ if they can get any value.
Everything else should be used on defense in the draft/FA. Andrew Billings, who like Forbes opted out due to Covid, should be back and would've helped this run defense immensely. My #1 FA target, if he hits the market, is Trey Hendrickson (DE-New Orleans) to pair with Garrett. He had 14.5 sacks and fits the M.O. of a Berry target (young, productive and coming off his rookie contract).
Overall, very good season considering what they had to deal with.
Good year guys.
The Browns team and organization are over that hump and legit. Should be serious big time contenders next season.....just what you guys have wanted all the years we have been posting on these sites. Hope you enjoyed it. Represented well today.

I agree, and I think that the defense needs more help than we can get through the draft. Hopefully some pieces will be obtained through free agency. The one thing that we are missing on offense is a deep threat wr. At this point, I'm not sure that it can be OBJ, but we need someone with his ability to score from anywhere. There is an urgency to make a run while much of our core is on their first contract.
Without obj, Cleveland has no deep threat and no one to stretch the defense out. Itās as much Clevelandās fault for not scheming right than just his for not performing. Iām not as enthusiastic to get rid of him as some are. Cleveland needs to do better with their offensive schemes when heās in.
But yeah... we need defense defense defense on the draft.
You know that targeting no call was questionable when even Draft Kings refunds your money...
Pathetic part of all this is that Mack Wilson is probably going to get fined for a clean hit on Mahomes.
Itās been a couple of days, but anyone wanting the Browns to trade for Deshaun Watson is a jackass.

I donāt blame Watson one bit. Would you trust an owner who let BOB trade away all your picks and a top 5 WR.
He has nothing left around him.

I don't blame Watson at all. And there are plenty of teams that should try and get him. I just don't think the Browns are one. Idiots calling in to 92.3 saying they should. He might be better than Baker, it would be close, but you'd also be giving up a 1st and more, which then makes it ridiculous.
The real question is, should we get rid of Woods?

Most of these people are bitter bitch Buckeye fans who still have a stick up their ass about him planting that flag. No, you don't trade for Watson. Baker has a certain attitude that fits in with the city.
As far as Woods goes, I know he was far from great but what did he have to work with? If the D is this bad next year, after Berry reloads, then you move on.
