The scary thing is the sheer number of people on that Twitter thread defending the thieves and bullying anyone who says it is wrong. They are calling them out for defending “billionaires”, for being “ableists” since how do they know that these thieves aren’t disabled, etc.
The number on there saying it’s “ok” because the stuff is insured and the owners are billionaires is insane.
Hey moron, the owners are going to take no less profit. When their insurance goes up for theft claims do you think their higher insurance premiums are coming out of their profits or are they going to be charging more to the paying customers?
